These shorts, the corresponding jacket and pants are all A++ in my opinion. Best 3 items that BR has right now. I'm a 23 waist and 5'4". XS fits perfectly. One thing to note is that you prob will need bleed out the dye a bit, but the style and quality on these 3 items are worth that minimal effort.

This fabric, the ramie and cotton blend had me hooked. It's different but highly wearable, cool in the heat, and drapes so nicely. I bought the pants first and then got these. I'm normally not a fan of elastic waistbands and a drawstring but these are comfortable and I don't mind the tie. I have been wearing the pants and these shorts regularly…maybe I'll get the jacket?! 😅 BR, keep making clothes with 100% natural fibres. That's what will keep me coming back.

I think I'm in love with ramie! The fabric holds its shape well and is so interesting to look at. And even though I was worried about these shorts being thicker, since the fabric is stiffer it doesn't cling to the body and so these are one of my cooler shorts for the summer. The pockets are spacious and the band is thick enough that I can keep my phone in my pockets without bulging or dragging my shorts down. I'm 5'2 pear shaped 126-130 lbs and I opted for a medium for a looser fit. I'm considering getting another pair!
