I purchased the linen plaid(size8), and cotton blue strip(size 10). The waist is identical between the two. The plaid is a light summer weight floaty linen, with visible woven texture. The blue stripe is a smooth very light weight cotton, more like sheets/collard shirt/poplin. I expected the cotton ...to have a more textured hand feel with a matte finish and visible woven texture based on the photos, but it is a little shiny and very smooth/tight weave-still great, but not what I was expecting and that is why I'm posting this review. Unlike other reviews I think the colors shown in the photos are accurate and exactly what I was expecting. I'm 5'8" and this is a nice long length that hits just above my ankles in a nice spot when worn at my natural/high waist.
I ordered a size 6, which is supposed to fit a 28" waist, which is my correct measurement. This is at least 3" too big, maybe more. I wouldn't even know how many sizes to go down (the odd numbered sizes are not even on the size chart?), but it doesn't matter because they're completely sold out now.... I don't know why they'd cost themselves sales with such wildly inaccurate size charts. Is it so hard to have an accurate size chart?

let me start with - I'm 5'3"", 113 lbs. with measuring tape, 26 waist 35 hips. I normally buy 25 petite in BR jeans that have at least some stretch and 26 petite if jeans have no stretch/are rigid. I have no booty but depending on the cut can appear to have a little something. This skirt will look great if you have a flat stomach. I bought a 0 petite in the striped tan/blue. It falls nicely, leaving a little space at the waist. the skirt has zero stretch but is light, kind of like a button down shirt. I would only wear with a fitted top, bodysuit or cropped tee. You will need to iron/steam. Can be worn with open toe heels or sandals. It will be a nice addition to your summer look.

Size down if you want to wear at the natural waistline - my regular size sat above the hips. It is a full skirt due to the pleats, as noted by another reviewer, but giving it a good press helps. I may also have them sewn down.

Way too expensive to not even have the pattern aligned at the seams. FYI - BR deletes poor reviews.

I love this skirt. It's light and flowy, not too heavy. It can be dressed up or down. I will be wearing this all summer.
