This flowy black linen dress from Banana Republic is surprisingly flattering on a petite frame. There's a lot of fabric, but the shorter length and the seams at the waist give it a subtle, more fitted shape that keeps it from feeling overwhelming. The only area that runs large is the shoulder and neckline, even in an XS/S, but leaving the top two buttons undone opens up the neckline and makes the fit look intentional and relaxed. I have worn it several times and always receive compliments.

I had high hopes for this as an easy summer dress, but it was just too much fabric. I'm typically a 6 in dresses and got the XS/S, and the bottom half just floated way too far away from the body. The red is a pretty shade, but is a bit transparent under lights.

I really like the cut and drape of this mini dress. I got mine in russet color and it pairs well with my olive skin tone. It runs slightly large but that is the style of this cute lovely dress. Overall I'm satisfied because it's easy to wear and the linen fabric is perfect for hot summer temperatures.

I usually wear a size 12/14 in dresses. Ordered M/L. It's very roomy. Like so roomy. So roomy the wind will catch it and everyone will see my undies. Well, even if there's no wind, you'll see my undies bc the fabric is very see through. If I wear this on a day I have recess duty, everyone will see the outline of my legs and when the wind picks up, they'll see my undies. It's super cute. I think I'll keep it.

I have ordered from BR so many times. This is the most disappointed I've ever been with one of their products. It looks great in the picture, but the dress is terrible: cheap fabric, strange, unflattering cut, a poorly attached slip underneath. Fabric is supposed to be linen. It feels thin and fake.

Love the cotton Indian saree print and texture reminiscent of the softest voile which makes it easy breezy dress to wear all summer long. Perfect length in regular size. Bit oversized.
