Comments about Embroidered Cotton Maxi Dress

This looks beautiful online but in person it is much more matronly. I am 5'10" 122 lbs, 32DD and ordered the small. When i tied the belt in the back (which is attached to the dress in the front - that was not clear to me when I bought it) to make the belt actually fit my figure the buttons in front flare out and there is a pouch of fabric at my stomach waist area (i do have a very flat stomach but it appears the model does too and this is not an issue on her). An xs would be too narrow in the shoulder area so alas this dress is not a good fit for me. Unfortunately although I have the model measurements, clothes at BR never fit me like they do for the models online.

Nice looking dress but material is rough

Beautiful dress, but the lining doesn't extend all the way through. Just trying it on, the unlined embroidered fabric under the arms was noticeably scratchy. At this price, I'd expect full lining. Returning it.

Comments about Embroidered Cotton Maxi Dress

The details on the bodice and sleeves, as well as the embroidered cotton are beautiful. Unfortunately the tie landed on my ribcage, not at my waist so I gave this a pass as it had to be perfect in order to pay regular price. I do have a long torso.

I LOVE this dress! It makes me want to frolic in a daisy field and bake bread! I think it's gorgeous and romantic. If you love cottagecore, you'll love this dress too. As soon as I saw it hanging in the store I knew I had to have it. I love the embroidery and the workmanship. I love that it has a detachable slip dress. Personally, I didn't think the pockets showed at all and the skirt of the dress doesn't look frumpy either. This kind of dress needs to be tied looser, so the skirt falls straight and the buttons at the bodice don't gap.

Pretty but it's a lot of material

Embroidered material is nice, but this cut has a LOT of fabric in the skirt, which added bulk on me and looked frumpy. I'm hourglass. It may be OK on a straighter taller figure like the online model. Has a cream slip dress underneath.

The outer fabric is beautiful and the cut is very flattering. The slip is very light and comfortable but very thin. The main problem I have with this dress is that you can see the pockets through the front of the dress - really cheapens the look. Also they've used elastic for the loops on the bottons, which makes it easier to put on but means the buttons pull and gape very easily if you have a slightly larger bust.
