I'm not sure who this sizing is made for. I ordered the linen skirt in size 8P. I'm 5'2" and 135 lbs. It is nowhere close to fitting. I don't want to take the chance on 10P fitting, either. BR really needs to figure out the sizing. it's a very pretty skirt so very sad that it won't work.

I truly loved the look of this skirt and took the advice of other reviewers to "size up." I'm 5,5", 130lbs, 25/26" waist, 34" hips (usually a size 4/6) so I ordered a 10 petite…the length and waist were perfect but sadly the skirt made me look "dowdy" because the excessive material around the hip/butt area was excessive. The skirt itself is a lovely linen and beautifully made (fully lined) but sadly I had to return it.

Love this skirt. Gorgeous style and color. Runs very small. I usually buy a 0 and went to a 2 (which is still a bit snug).

The skirt, unto itself, is really beautiful and well made (fully lined and lovely linen fabric) but the sizing is completely off.

Bought in my regular size 2 and fits like a glove. The linen is beautiful quality as is all of BR linen pieces. Purchased the matching top and will buy the linen pants!

Absolutely stunning and incredibly flattering; it highlights the feminine figure beautifully and it is fully lined. As a long-time customer, I'm thrilled that the 00P fits exactly like the classic Banana Republic pieces I've had for a decade. I would love to see more consistent sizing like this, rather than expanding current measurements, perhaps by offering a wider range of sizes to accommodate all body types.
