Wore it in 103 degrees yesterday. Was super comfortable. Looked very chic. Pictures came out great. Highly recommend it. I am 5'4", 120lbs wearing XS.
Since Banana Republic swich the rewards, the shipping and services has been on decadence, I received this denim drees 12 days later and I received an a totally different dress, they send me a dress from an store and sent me a different drees and a used dress, its ridiculous.

The denim has no stretch, so I'm glad I chose the XL. It's a little loose through my torso, but sizing down would have made getting it over my head difficult. A few cons: the dress is a darker blue in person than it appears in the pictures, and it does not have the back pocket or zipper details shown on the denim dress in the product photos. That said, I'm keeping it because the fit is very flattering! At 5'4", it hits just above my knees, and the sleeves come to my elbows. The V-neck is modest and not low-cut. The denim is also heavier than I expected, which makes it great for cooler summer days, late summer/early fall, and even winter with tights and boots. Overall, the color/details weren't exactly as pictured, but the fit is flattering and comfortable, and I'm happy I kept it.

Petite size all sold out, so I ordered regular XS. V-neck is my favorite neck style but it's a little too low so it reveals (and that's why I thought Petite size might help). So I ordered XXS, but it was too tight. I have to return both. Too bad as I really like this deep red color (not fire works) and structured top (not like barrel) and above the knee length (I like my dress either above the knee or at ankle). Don't like the unflattering baggy sleeves. And of course need a side zipper as back one might be hard to reach.

I always wear 00 or XXS with any brand. But this dress is impossible to put on without a zipper. Seriously, no zipper. Cannot believe such a flaw happen to banana republic.

I ordered a size 4 as a 5'4" pear shaped woman. The A-line fit looks elegant over my shape. It's has an appropriate length for activities. Dress is not lined, but I wear a pair of shorts for modesty and mobility. The sleeves little longer than expected and wrinkle in the crease of your arm. Dress looks sharp, lays nicely, and is recommended

Beautiful made. Great quality linen. For me the sleeves are a tad long and having them shortened. Perfect fit size small for 5'3-5'4 140 lbs smaller chest.

gap.comI have to echo the other comments about the missing zipper. The dress is lovely, but it is very difficult to take off without one. I don't want to have to pay a tailor to add a zipper, even if the dress is on sale. Note to Banana Republic: please add zippers to your dresses! It would make them much more practical and comfortable to wear.
