Nice colour, but the material is too stiff and it sticks out. The legs are way too wide, not flattering at all.

I saw someone leave a review that these are too wide and too stiff, which made me order them lol. I love a very wide leg with a structured fabric. I actually really disagree with that reviewer. I am always a M in banana republic pants, the medium fit my waist, are tight in the hip, and then a true straight leg. Not wide at all and not relaxed. For example the BR everyday wide leg pant in M fits me like a glove, fits my hips, but these which claim to be a relaxed wide leg are too tight in the hip. Disappointing because I love the colors! If I order a size up the waist will be huge on me. Please make the waist smaller or the hip bigger, preferably both! I love a dramatic silhouette...

The xl was too large and the L was too small. Otherwise a cute silhouette.

I wanted to like these pants but they are stiff and uncomfortable; the cotton feels like painters' cloth, perhaps that's where the name comes from .... Sizing is weird, they are super wide all over but the elastic on top is tighter. Too bad, they will go back.

I bought these last year in all the colors. When I saw they added additional colors I couldn't resist. They are very flattering on and comfortable. For reference I'm 5'5 and 135 lbs and small fit great.

Just the best. Back to try to talk myself out of buying a second color. Deff run a smidge big and relax a BIT with wear - I'm 5"7, 28-29in inseam usually, 130 lbs, and the XS in these fits perfectly with a subtle crop that doesn't seem TOO cropped by any means - the S I originally went with was too big. Great to pull on and go and super comfortable material, and wash well.

I purchased two pairs of these pants in 2025 and I love them so, when I saw new colours, I bought another pair. Unfortunately even though they are the same size as my previous pairs, these are too small.

I ordered these in olive, and liked these but they were just too big, so order one size down. They would be great with a close to the body top and sandals. I also wish they came in khaki. I would like some lighter colors; just ready for cold weather to end. #sweepstakes

These are great - especially at the sale price. Very nice, heavy fabric that will likely last for years. Kind of a wide, barrel leg. Such a great everyday pant - could be dressed up or dressed down. Very comfortable. Perfect for a practical, low-maintenance kind of girl.
