I have these pants that I bought several years apart in both navy and black, so I have two sizes in each colour. After literally a hundred washes each, the older ones (5 years?) look like new. I sized up with the most recent ones and I actually can't tell them apart in the closet. The older ones hav...e likely stretched out a little from wearing them for 5 years, but these pants are a staple. I like to wear them with a crepe blouse tucked in and a nice long wool or linen cardigan or duster. I prefer to not wear them with short tops since they fit tight (as a skinny pant should). BR, please do not discontinue these pants! After a cold wash and hang-dry, I iron them and they're good as new. Regular length works on me as I prefer a full length pant as opposed to ankle pants, so I wear the 0 and 2 regular, 115# and 5'2.
I bought skinny sloan pants a few years ago and I adore them. I orderer a new pair this month and they are NOT the same. Not even similar. The overall fit is very different. They are not skinny by any means — the calves flair out a significant amount and somewhat taper again towards the ankle, but i...t's a very loose fit starting at the knee. The waist is too big, even though I purchased the same size as before. They also seem like it's a lower rise pant in general. I will absolutely be returning them. I'm so disappointed.

This pant has been a staple in my wardrobe for years. It is a mid-rise with a slight stretch. It is not truly a skinny fit. It is comfortable and easy to wear. Works for casual or work. Now, it seems to have been discontinued. I have tried the straight Sloan, but it is too baggy for me. Please, BR, bring back this iconic pant.

This Sloan pant is an all-time favorite. I like the slim (it is not really skinny) fit, the weight of the material, the mid-rise, and the overall fit. It used to come in a variety of colors and (sometimes) prints - please, Banana Republic, bring us some other choices in the Sloan Skinny Pant.

Fit was good but the rear pockets were fairly uncomfortable against your skin so I opted to rerun them. They seemed really well made and I wanted to keep them but couldn't get past the feel of the pockets.
