Mine just arrived, so my review is about fit, fabric and style rather than wearing and washing experience. I was dubious as to whether they would suit my body type, but it turns out that they are keepers. My waist is about 38" and hips about 48", and a size L regular (in black) fit much better than I expected on my short-waisted, long-legged 5'9" somewhat pear-shaped body, and fit smoothly over my wide upper thighs. I love how the waistband is not a separate piece of fabric stitched on but instead is an extension of the culottes but with vertical tucks that look elegant and make for a very comfortable fit and feel at the waist, and they look great with a tucked-in top. Note that the side seam pockets have been stitched closed (a tailoring detail that to me shows quality constuction), so you will have to gently pull those stitches out. Or leave them if you don't want to use the pockets and want to keep the side seams very smooth. As others have noted, the crotch is a bit dropped, but I am cautiously optimistic that that will not significantly affect their wearing comfort, as a too high crotch might bunch up when walking. I would consider ordering more of these if they came in other dark colors or dark prints, but in the meantime I can see getting a lot of wear out of these black ones,as they look so classy, fit well, and will be a wonderfully versatile alternative to the skirts and dresses I usually wear.

I have been looking for black linen coulottes for quite a while! These are the perfect pair. The weight is outstanding, the waistband if super comfy, and the length is perfect. I couldn't be happier with them! Thinking of buying a 2nd pair ... I'm going to be upset if these wear out :/

I love these comfortable, stylish well made culottes. The linen fabric is smooth and good weight and the green print is quite sophisticated. I love these comfortable wide waistband and pockets. I love them so much that I bought and returned 3 pairs in order to address the low hanging crotch. That was disappointing and mysterious. I wonder if it was purposefully designed that way? Not a good idea but I will tolerate that unfortunate feature.

I absolutely love these trousers, they are exactly what I was looking for. It is hard to find 100% linen pants in this exact style that is cropped and has an over-exaggerated wide leg with a flat elastic waist. Most wide leg linen pants on the market aren't this structural, and I really look for structural details in clothes, so these hit all the marks for me. I have these in black, and ordered my size in cream, but I returned the cream not realizing they were lined with cotton. The lining was high quality and quite lightweight, and I considered cutting it out of the pants. I don't think something that is meant to be 100% linen, breezy and breathable, should include a denser weave lining. I ended up returning the cream color because as previously mentioned, even the lining was too nice of quality to cut out. I'd really love to see these pants released in more colors, like a rust or navy. They are an absolute staple in any summer wardrobe!

The waist to crotch length of these culottes are ridiculously too long. The crotch is at mid thigh. This is neither attractive nor comfortable, especially if this feature was not expected; and most women will likely to object. I did not catch this issue when I tried these culottes on briefly. My friend who also purchased these culottes alerted of this unfortunate feature. I was waiting to wear them once it's consistently summer-like outside. They are like MC Hammer pants of days gone by. This is apparent in the regular, petite and Tall sizes. Not surprisingly the inseam lengths don't reflect this problem. Some of the reviews are complaining about this issue. I love the linen fabric and sophisticated checkered green print, the pockets and everything else except the low hanging crotch! So I'm keeping it but hoping a taylor can fix the problem. I don't really want to roll the waist down to raise the crotch height. BR I'm wondering if thus was a purposeful design element or a mistake? Hopefully this will be remedied and other colors and prints of these culottes will be available in the future. They will be perfect then! Even with this annoying problem I do still love these pants.

I'm normally a size 10 in banana and can't always wear their pants because I'm pear shaped and need curvy fit bottoms. The size SMALL fit perfectly. Really cute with the matching top. Can't wait to wear in the summer!
