As gorgeous as pictured. Is it work? yes - you have to get the bows right, otherwise what's the point. As others mentioned, there are myriad resources online on how to get a beautiful bow, and there are many ways to secure the shirt while tying, either yourself or while having someone else who is h...andy do it (I'm impressed by the bow-tying husband - you go, dude!). So if you are averse to spending a bit of time on an item - which I totally get - then pass on this. If you can handle it, go for it! I would have happily done it, I'm willing to put in a bit of work for a unique top - but these days I like to have my back neck covered - This looked great from the front on me, and I thought I wouldn't mind the back neck exposure for such a gorgeous top (arthritis-deformed bone), but when I found the material/color (which I love!!!) on another shirt that did cover the upper neck, I decided to take the easy, neck covered way out ;-). I found it TTS
I have never added to cart more quickly - so much to love about this top but sadly, I was not able to keep it. LOVE the color, the rugged material in contrast to the bow detail, the shape - everything. But the bows needed adjusting when I received the top and I discovered that when I untied them, th...e top opened up completely. When I tried to retie them, the thick and heavy fabric made it very difficult. I must have spent 45 minutes trying various ways to get the bows to have a casual yet intentional look, to no avail. I saw an influencer wearing the top having steamed it - which literally took all of the personality out of it, although I'm sure the steaming lightened it enough to make the material easier to work with. Wondering if others are having the same issue as I really wanted to love this top!

It's a fun shirt to wear once you get the bows figured out. After washing and ironing the shirt I put it on and slipped the ties under my bra strap (one to the left, one to the right) and knotted the ties in place. After making sure they were even on both sides my husband tied the bows. Having it tied to your bra strap helps keep the bows in place because they are top heavy. The ties will still move around a lot because of how long they are. I got the navy blue in my usual size medium. This shirt is a little more work but then again it's not just a regular button-down.

Comments about Cotton Bow-Shoulder Top
I felt in love with this top as soon as I saw it. I'm a big fan of shirts that accentuate the shoulders and this one didn't disappoint. I wear sizes S/M depending on the style of the item. For this top, I bought it in small and it fits perfect. I saw some reviews mentioning the length of the fabric for the bows being too long or the bows not being at the same level. My solution for this was tying the bows before wearing the top and watching tutorials on how to tie bows, as I was not aware there are ways to make perfectly nice and puffy bows. So if you are like me who loves tops with accents on the shoulders and/or puffy sleeves, this is a must!

I admit that I am very small/narrow in my back and chest, but this was just too much fabric for me. The bows were nearly impossible to tie in a reasonable spot, and it just fell awkwardly. I'm sad because I really wanted to love it!

Stunning top—as cute online as it is in person. The fabric is lovely! Wonderful color (got the mossy green). And I totally hear ya, ladies, on the issues with re-tying… But trust me, the top is worth it. Here's an easy fix: Start by ironing out the ribbons. Find a piece of furniture with upholstered arms, as this shape will act as a "shoulder." Line up the ribbons with an inch or two between the seams where they attach to the bodice and pin them securely to the furniture. Re-tying is easy when the rest of the top doesn't move!

I loved this too in the pic but I am so disappointed that the bows aren't bowing. So when you tie them they just flop down and it looks nothing like the pic. The material and color are great but trying to self-tie the bows was unsuccessful.

Impossible design. Two people working for 20 minutes could not get this top tied so it was the same on both sides. Where the tie is placed impacts the length, the neckline, and the armpit space. The ties have sooo much fabric that it makes working with them very difficult. Once the top is tied, the fabric of the bows needs to lay the same on both sides. Consider that if you ever do get the top tied, this process will have to be done every time the top is washed and worn again. Getting dressed should never be this difficult. This top went back.

It is definitely a crop top. And, while you can adjust the straps, still couldnt make it look like in the pictures. Color looked like bleached fabric. Strange.

The material and color on this is perfect!!! I'm not sure about the bows it's sooo much material I should have known when I realized how long the tails to the bows were in the photo. However, I'm thinking about keeping it because I readjusted my Bows to the front instead of all the shoulder … but now looks like a anthro / hutch big bow dress.. I think I will keep it on wear it with high waisted black jean shorts. I am really curious to read some more reviews since I'm the first one and the sir is almost sold out.
