Comments about Cotton Bow-Shoulder Top

I admit that I am very small/narrow in my back and chest, but this was just too much fabric for me. The bows were nearly impossible to tie in a reasonable spot, and it just fell awkwardly. I'm sad because I really wanted to love it!

Solution to the Bow Re-Tie Issue!

Stunning top—as cute online as it is in person. The fabric is lovely! Wonderful color (got the mossy green). And I totally hear ya, ladies, on the issues with re-tying… But trust me, the top is worth it. Here's an easy fix: Start by ironing out the ribbons. Find a piece of furniture with upholstered arms, as this shape will act as a "shoulder." Line up the ribbons with an inch or two between the seams where they attach to the bodice and pin them securely to the furniture. Re-tying is easy when the rest of the top doesn't move!

I loved this too in the pic but I am so disappointed that the bows aren't bowing. So when you tie them they just flop down and it looks nothing like the pic. The material and color are great but trying to self-tie the bows was unsuccessful.

Impossible design. Two people working for 20 minutes could not get this top tied so it was the same on both sides. Where the tie is placed impacts the length, the neckline, and the armpit space. The ties have sooo much fabric that it makes working with them very difficult. Once the top is tied, the fabric of the bows needs to lay the same on both sides. Consider that if you ever do get the top tied, this process will have to be done every time the top is washed and worn again. Getting dressed should never be this difficult. This top went back.

I have never added to cart more quickly - so much to love about this top but sadly, I was not able to keep it. LOVE the color, the rugged material in contrast to the bow detail, the shape - everything. But the bows needed adjusting when I received the top and I discovered that when I untied them, the top opened up completely. When I tried to retie them, the thick and heavy fabric made it very difficult. I must have spent 45 minutes trying various ways to get the bows to have a casual yet intentional look, to no avail. I saw an influencer wearing the top having steamed it - which literally took all of the personality out of it, although I'm sure the steaming lightened it enough to make the material easier to work with. Wondering if others are having the same issue as I really wanted to love this top!

It is definitely a crop top. And, while you can adjust the straps, still couldnt make it look like in the pictures. Color looked like bleached fabric. Strange.

The material and color on this is perfect!!! I'm not sure about the bows it's sooo much material I should have known when I realized how long the tails to the bows were in the photo. However, I'm thinking about keeping it because I readjusted my Bows to the front instead of all the shoulder … but now looks like a anthro / hutch big bow dress.. I think I will keep it on wear it with high waisted black jean shorts. I am really curious to read some more reviews since I'm the first one and the sir is almost sold out.
