These have quickly become my favorite pair of pants in my closet. The rayon and linen blend is beautiful. The rayon gives the fabric a soft, fluid drape while the linen provides just enough structure for the wrap design to hold its shape. They arrived with some wrinkles from shipping, but a quick s...team brought them back to life. I appreciate that they have movement without feeling stiff. The wrap detail looks more complicated than it actually is. Once the pants are on, you simply bring the extra fabric from the left side across to the right and tie the attached belt to secure the waist. After doing it a couple of times, it only takes a few seconds. One thing I would note is sizing. I initially ordered a Medium and later tried a Large. While the Medium technically fit, the Large allowed the wrap panel to overlap and drape the way it was clearly designed to. If you have fuller hips or are between sizes, I'd recommend trying the larger size so you can experience the full effect of the wrap detail. These pants are incredibly comfortable to wear, and the dramatic wide leg silhouette creates beautiful movement when walking. They feel elegant and thoughtfully designed. I can already tell these will be a staple in my wardrobe for years to come.
I got these in black, M Tall as I'm 5'10 size 31 waist. They seem to run large but they're supposed to fit loosely. The length is great, goes past ankle. While they have an unexpected shine, that's not the problem. They have no button or zipper. Instead, you have to figure how to fold and tie them... which is more difficult than it seems as you have to pull the ties on each side and fold the left side over. Has to be done carefully to not look lopsided. Also, the elastic strip in back is unnecessary. Instead, if there was a button on the left where it folds over, it would be easier and the pocket wouldn't look pulled each time you have to tie them. Can't imagine wearing these and having to fuss w tieing them every time (restroom). I don't sew and would have to pay to have a zipper/button added which for the cost isn't feasible.

great addition to my closet. Fabric combination of viscose and linen, makes the pants wrinkle less and subtle shine of fabric makes it more dressier. Usually buy a large, but medium fit perfectly.

The perfect drape and leg width … better than I hoped. Need to stay on top of the ironing with the tie. But worth it! My new favourite pants

gap.comHands-down the most versatile, interesting, beautiful and comfortable pants I've added to my closet in a long, long time. The wrap is elegant and adds interest. The fabric is light-feeling, yet substantial. I bought a regular-length pair to wear with flats and the petite version to wear with heels, and my GOD, they are stunning. I don't understand the confusion about how to wear these, as they are a straightforward belted wrap-front pant, but once you figure it out, you will LOVE them. I took a star off because both pairs arrived simply reeking of mildew, and while it was a disappointment, they're washable (thank goodness). BUY THESE PANTS! You will not be disappointed. Okay, off my soapbox now, and on my way to purchase the white pair.

I do agree it's a bit complicated to figure out, but because I'd read all the previous reviews, I knew what to expect. I suggest putting the front together first, pinning it, then putting it on. The material is heavy and good quality. I wouldn't say there's too much material, because it's part of the style, that's what allows the front flap to flow, or fall into place.

I really wanted to love these pants. They arrived in a regular BR bag and smelled strongly of food. I tried them, the waist was fine, the issue was the fold on the left side pulled in a way that was the opposite of flattering. Unfortunately, while the fabric drapes beautifully, these are not for me.

The pants/palazzo fall beautifully. Because they came with the ties properly set up it was no problem to understand how they work. This is very comfortable and looks outstanding with casual and less casual tops. A big keeper. AND they work for tall women, I am 5'10" and curvy hourglass figure. I may get them in another colour - I purchased black.
