Just got the dress, haven't even tried it on yet (although the fabric does seem very nice a la the other comments here), but I was expecting the dress in navy, and the color is actually a light charcoal/faded black. ? The pics at the site make it look like navy, but def not that shade in real life. Anyone else notice this? Might still work, but disappointed that the color at the site is not representative of the actual garment.

Got size My instead of L, perfect fit.
This is exactly what I love for spring and summer. It's floaty, easy, and glamorous. I sized down because it looked big. It's very caftan adjacent but loads of drama and different ways of wearing it. Love!

I was glad this is more of a soft linen as some can feel quite harsh- it also didn't appear to crease out the bag like some linen fabrics I've encountered. Well made & drapey which is a plus. Personally, I like that it gives the illusion of my figure but is flowy off my body for comfort. It is oversized & I had to size down from XL - L. Very happy with the buy - & love that it has pockets!

love it! quality; cut...
Love the shape and length. It is a heavier weight linen which gives it structure but does not make you feel hot. Feels like it is just floating on your body. Doesn't even need ironing if you hang dry it after wash. Looks good with or without the waist tie. I am 5'3" with 34A bust and 35" hips. I got Petite S and it fits perfectly. More colors please!!!!

I love this dress. It's a heavy linen, quite oversized, and pretty long. The only reason it's not perfect is plastic buttons. I think Banana Republic should use more shell, horn, or nut buttons but that's just me. Natural material buttons elevate the look of any garment. A special touch is the way the sleeves are cut in one piece with the front, making for a continuous stripe pattern. I had an orange and blue gingham shirtdress years ago and this reminds me of that dress.
