This is a crisp cotton dress in a beautiful mauve/taupe color. It's low cut, in a tasteful way, but I will need to wear a cami under it for work. Same for the slit. The sleeves are a bit too full and make it somewhat overwhelming on my frame. The fitted waist helps though (although it rides high on me). Keep in mind that I am 5'5", size 4/6, with a long torso. All that aside, it's a unique, pretty dress purchased for a good price, so I will keep it.

I love the dress itself but it washed me out and was not a good color for my light brown complexion. I love the light weight cotton fabric and the smocking.
