Love the dress and weight of the linen. It's not lined,though. My issue, like others, is the lack of a zipper! So odd that designers approved this! I am 5'5, 135lbs, A cup, straight build (no curves) XS looked best on me but it felt a tad uncomfortable/tight (linen with minimal stretch) and I then ...needed the sales assistant to help me out of the dress because I literally couldn't get it off! Ended up purchasing size S because at the end of the day I felt good in it and I loved the dress! I think this dress could be great for the right person but I could see it not working for some body types. Would recommend trying it on first. I would say it true to size and maybe runs slightly large since I'm normally between a size small and medium.
Buyer beware! I placed a large order from Banana Republic with items in multiple sizes and 7 items (nearly 900 dollars) of merchandise was missing from my order. The packaged that arrived was small so it was very clear the missing items never left the warehouse and were never included in the packa...ge. My missing items claim was denied within 60 second by an automated computer process and I am out 900 dollars. Now I have to file appeals and try to work with my bank and a third-party service to recoup my money. I will never shop here again.

A pretty dress, something different with the bold stripes. Yes this could use a zipper like others have mentioned but still easily wearable once you get arms through. I'm 5'3" 128 pounds and got a small petite. Hits at a good length but think regular length would have worked too.

I was so excited to finally order this dress only to be disappointed when it arrived. The print seemed more subdued online. The green striped fabric reminded me of table cloths my grandmother had on their picnic table. The fit didn't change my mind. I found the fabric too heavy to gently sway like on the video of the model. This one is going back! Sorry Banana Republic. This one is a miss for me.

The website photos of the striped dress show much more muted colors. In reality the colors are way too bright and the red is too dark. I'm usually size M, ordered S and while the chest fits great it is huge at the waist. Also, no zipper so be prepared to roll it over your head.

The shape of this dress is forgiving for my stomach, L/ 14 size. The arm holes are slightly large for my bust area. However, this dress (striped one) is so stylist and effortlessly chic. I got at least 10 such compliments the first time I wore it. Other colors are great also, but the striped one gives me vintage vibes. I typically shy away from linen b/c I don't like the wrinkles and the slight stretching. I have not washed it and may have different feelings after I wash it. For now, I recommend the dress.
