My only regret was I let other reviews make me order a size too big (and it's not exchangeable nor available in an 8!). However I can have it taken in a bit. I'm 5'5, 155lbs, ordered a 10 regular in the colour cream (normally I would get an 8). It is a little big through the ribs/ waist. However, I was super impressed by the quality of the linen and the construction, relative to the sale price. It looks good.

Beautiful fabric but the dress falls off my shoulder and is too tight in the torso. I'm upset that it's final sale and I can't return it but will still have to pay for it.

The style is beautiful, weird sizing. I had to go 2 sizes up (never in my life) following the other reviews. The material is pretty good but I am not sure how good that is if you can't wear it. It is just odd the way it fits, I am more on the smaller breast side and curvy, normally I wear 2 or 4P, ordered 8P and it is a little tight in the hips area, it looks a little see through though so you need a inner slip, the breast area is low. Hard to believe the model is wearing a size 2 and it looks so lose on her. Something should have happened with the correct sizes.

I sized up as suggested. This dress fit so beautiful except for the top. The wrap fit weird and can't wear a bra with this..too low in front and in back. Returning.

Compared to the rest of BR's dress assortment, I found this to run incredibly small. The fabric is nice and I like the design, I just wish their sizing were consistent.

I came to banana republic for higher quality and better fit. The dress is my proper size and is made of good materials but the ties across the front are NOT designed at all whatsoever to cross and overlap in the front. No matter what you do they will never be able to lay flat and one side will be rolled up and weird (you can see this in the model). This could have EASILY been fixed with a minor adjustment or two but they decided to sell it knowing it would look like a hot mess. Even for the sales price it's not worth it because to wear it I will need to pay for someone to do the adjustments that should have happened before this hit stores. I'm not surprised they aren't taking returns on this, it's probably on sale for high returns. This will likely be my last banana republic purchase.

I typically run between a 10 and 12. The size 12 fit perfectly. I was nervous it wouldn't work for me since I am a 34DD/155lbs. While the sweetheart wraparound neckline showcased the bust, I had to wear a good bra and do my own minor tailoring. I added interior sleeve ties to secure those to my bra straps, along with a bust hook-and-eye closure so the front would stay in place for comfort and overall peace of mind. It's a good dress once those adjustments were made, but because it lacks those functional, fine details out of the box, I could only justify buying it at the sale price.

5'0 145 pounds and the 8 Petite fits like a dream. I was nervous based on the reviews I read about sizing up but going up one size turned out to be the right call for me. I love the adjustable sash and the cut is perfect as well as the length. Will be my go to for special events this summer!
