I bought this blue/brown dress in store a month ago. Wore it once and washed it… almost all the color bled and was sucked out. The top light blue part of it looks tie dye now and not in a good way like almost like I bleached it and I did not. I followed the wash instructions on the tag to a T because it was expensive and I hope to wear it a while and to my dissapointment, after paying full price, I only got ONE wear. I bought it because I am 7 months pregnant and the size S still fit my belly and I hoped I could wear it postpartum as well because it is nursing friendly. It's so damaged from one wash and dry that I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving the house in it.

Agree with others that this is just too voluminous. And it's not that I don't love an easy breezy dress, it's just that the shape and seaming on this one make it a bit strange and unflattering unfortunately.

So - initially I loved this dress (and left a 5 star review in the other color) - because I had only been able to try it in a M - a size smaller than I would need - need my actual size because of the shoulder/bust area. But I finally got to try a size bigger (XL) - which isn't terribly big in the shoulder/bust area quite frankly - but is ginormous everywhere else - in an unattractive way. Also ends up being very long. I've come to believe that *maybe* this would look good on me in L petite (I'm 5'7") - but... as I was never able to get my hands on a L much less a L petite, we'll never really know. It's sad because I do LOVE the idea of the dress and the colors! (not the brown so much, but the rest of the colors!) - if I could get a dress that fit like the M everywhere else, but fit my shoulders/bust properly - it would be on heavy rotation, I'm sure.

I have yet to get this in a size that actually fits me- but based on the size that almost fits me- I think I'll love it! I love the color blocking with the bright colors (wish they had chosen something else for the blue other than brown :-/), and I love love LOVE the sleeves and the fact that there are pockets. As someone else noted: it is correctly sized in the shoulders and bust, which means you probably shouldn't size down (which is why the M I tried almost fit me, but not really). The rest of the dress is oversized, which is just great for a comfy fun fit. I'm either an L or an XL usually at BR, depending on fit- if it's crazy oversized I have some Ms- but it looks like this one will be an L for me- if I can get my hands on it- I'm hoping the XL is also fine, because I've actually been able to order that! The one thing I don't like is that the blousing of the shirt fit on the top half balloons out because it's stifled at the dropped waist junction- maybe this won't happen in a bigger size- if it does, I'm just going to sew down the shirt style pleating at the back so it stays put. As I'm writing this I'm enjoying my bright grass green utility style dress from last year and wishing BR did more bold color in general.

I really like this dress, it is very loss and comfortable and the coloring is vivid. I find it runs large, I ordered a small and usually can fit a medium.

Perfect combination of colors, lightweight yet substantial fabric that holds the barrel shape. Not sheer, but a slip undergarment would be best. I love it!
