After what felt like a brief (and mildly traumatic) departure from true Tall sizing, the 35" inseam has RETURNED to Banana Republic — and I could not be more thrilled. At 6'2", I don't ask for much. Just pants that don't look like I'm expecting a flood. For a while there, the inseams were creeping u...p and my ankles were making guest appearances they did not consent to. But now? Balance has been restored. These fit like an absolute dream. The waist is spot-on, the fabric texture is fantastic, and the length is gloriously, unapologetically long. Finally — pants that reach my shoes without negotiation. I loved them so much I bought every color available. If there were more shades, I'd own those too. Consider this both a thank you and a gentle encouragement to never, ever take the 35" inseam away again. Signed, A very happy tall person whose ankles are once again fully covered.
I was so excited to buy these. I thought I'd found a replacement for the BR puddle jeans, that seem to no longer be sold. Boy, was I disappointed! These are very large at the bottom. A good 4" more than your original puddle jeans. In my excitement I purchased all three colors. I am keeping the ecru ...because I can live with them. They fit better than the other two pair. A little large but they'd do. They all seem to run a bit large so buyer beware. You might want to size down…it's borderline at the waist. A bit loose. I think I'd size down an inch. The rest of the pant is much larger. I'm returning the denim because they have a "cheap" denim look. I washed the ecru pair and I would warn that they came out looking kind of like the old painters pants we used to wear…very wrinkly. You might get away with the wrinkles in darker denim but I will certsi have tiron these. Something I rarely do with my jeans when hung up immediately. Banana Republic, bring back your puddle jeans pleeeeze!!!

These jeans are so cute on. I love the palazzo style. I love flared jeans, too, but this are really different and the width of the legs help to accentuate the waist. I am 5'7" and the length is perfect. Some may prefer a bit shorter, but I like my jeans to come down to the tops of my shoes. Take care to order the correct waist size, as these jeans have little to no stretch. They hold their shape all day, unlike some jeans that stretch and wrinkle after they're worn for a few hours.

As someone who struggles with finding the perfect blend of casual, yet polished office-wear, these pants are a MUST-BUY. I feel creative, confident, and pulled together while still feeling like I'm wearing my favorite pair of comfy jeans. I love that they are a heathered type of stone - not a true solid cream - so there's some visual interest there that makes these extra special. For those scared to wear white pants - these are the pair to buy.

I got the ecru and they were perfect so I bought the medium wash too. The medium wash in the same size was shorter and tighter. Bummer

True to size. I'm usually 27 Petite in Gap brands. After reading reviews I decided to order a smaller size. I ordered 26 Petite. I am 5'5" 125lbs with shorter legs :) hence petite for pants always fit perfectly. I'm exchanging it for 27 Petite. 26P zipped just fine but felt stiff in the hip. Thin not too thin fabric, perfect for Florida. Palazzo legs look fine. Feel stiff in the body, zero elasticity as fabric is cotton, lyocell and linen. Hence stiffer that I'd prefer. Hopefully the 27P feels better.

Just to note - they are VERY wide. But I absolutely love them! The high waist and wide cut is flattering! I got the ecru color and I'm definitely going to order the blue denim. I got a 27, true to my size sometimes I do a 28 but these were so high waisted I took a 27. I'm 5'7" and will wear these with wedges or something with a heel so the lighter color doesn't get stained from dragging the ground. I also have a pretty long torso and lots of pants ride up, but these don't. Worth the purchase imo!

Love these jeans! but they are way too long. I am 5'5" and ordered the petite and they are still too long. I have to have them altered in order to be able to wear them (or wear 4" heels)

I was looking for a wide leg jean. These were large and extremely wide all over. Back they went.

gap.comIf you were alive in the 90s these pants will make you nostalgic. If you weren't they will make you wish you were. I wanted to love them but on a petite body these jeans really are too wide. Quality in the jeans feels good so I'm giving it 2 stars. There should multiple seam options as it's tight in the waist/crotch if you have hips. Sad to return them but happy for the nostalgia Long live the JNCO jean era

gap.comI am a true size L, even leaning towards an XL in BR sizing. I ordered these jeans in 32 regular, thinking they might be a bit small. Instead they were too big and long. Really wish BR's sizing were more consistent. Since there's no way to know if the next size down has an equally long leg (because the description/sizing is inaccurate) I won't bother to reorder. Too bad because I love the palazzo design.
