I am 5 feet tall, 140 lb, M size is right for me, the length is good with hills or flats. When I was buying the dress I was afraid it is too long. But I was wrong. The chocolate color is deep and reach. The material is nice and soft and not heavy at all as pure cotten in knit would be. In my opinion the dress is too open in on the back and arms so I wear it with a thin sweater and absolutely love it. I can dress it up or down, it is very versable. I am thinking to get the light color also.

I expected this to be similar to the merino-cotton skirt, but this is a thinner ribbed weave--not necessarily a bad thing but not quite as warm. I'm 5'9" and usually am fine with the regular length, but this doesn't come anywhere near to my ankles like it does on the model, so I'm exchanging for the tall version. One other thing to note is that the armholes go very deep so any bra you wear will be visible. I think they did this so that the sleeves lie a certain way, but it might have been nice to put a band in there to hide the bra. I'll have to buy a brown bra! #sweepstakes

This is a really nice dress with a unique design in chocolate brown. Was not sure how it will fit as it seems to be made for tall and skinny girls. What a pleasant surprise. Great find.

I like this, but the belt is kind of funky and I had to reconfigure it to get it tight enough to cinch my waist.

The front isn't flattering (for me). Love the back. The chocolate color is heavenly. TBD whether it stays or goes.

The dress is beautifully made but it looked very frumpy on me. Perhaps I needed to size down. The shoulders were too rounded and the skirt hugs my curves and then flared at the bottom- made for a very unflattering silhouette. I'm 5'7" 215lbs athletic build and usually wear size 12/14. Ordered a L. Sending it back.

I wore this for my family holiday dinner and received so many compliments. The color is rich and so beautiful. The material is so soft and the fabric hugs the body and isn't too tight. The length was great for me with flats and I'm 5 feet tall. I would purchase again in more colors if made available.
