I like these a lot. The fabric is a smooth pique weave, not super thick. Should be comfortable in most weather/temps. The deep placket is really nice, and while the collar could be a little bit firmer, it seems to be holding shape well. There is a seam across the back about half way down your should...er blades that I didn't spot in the pictures. I like it, it adds visual interest and a sporty look to the back. Now, for all those of you that have bought Lux Touch Polos in the past and been burned by the shrinkage. The fabric is way different than the regular polos, but I still experienced about one inch of shrink lengthwise, and maybe a half an inch in width. I am not tall, but I opted for the tall option, and I am glad I did. For reference, I am 5'9" and about 175… I bought a medium tall.
I used to buy numerous polos from BR every year, and they were awesome! Unfortunately, as other reviews have implied, all of the newer polos from Banana Republic in the past couple of years do not fit like they used to. The quality is ok at best, but the fit is terrible. They are all short and wi...de on the bottom. They used to have performance polos that had a nice athletic fit to them. The pique polos used to be great. Those are all long gone. The new luxury pique polos are short and baggy. Until they go back to the fit they had for years (doubtful), I would definitely not purchase again.
