One Major Flaw

Why can't these manufacturers sew DOWN a waistband? Why would anyone want a waistband that flips up and is not secured? Except for that major flaw, this skirt is gorgeous. Sumptuous fabric and beautifully cut. I had to take this to a tailor to fix the waistband.

I love the skirt, the fabric is delicate but great coverage not thin. The colour is unique and I have many options to coordinate with it. The length is perfect on my 5'2" frame.

I was very surprised and disappointed by this piece. The fabric and construction (uneven bottom hem) were more what I would expect from cheap labels. I have never encountered this with Banana Republic before. I returned the skirt, and would not recommend.

Thick, luxurious, classy, absolutely beautiful. The texture adds an lovey interest to the eye. Unfortunately I do not have the body shape to pull it off. Would love to have seen this in a circle skirt with a side slit.

This skirt is so beautiful and I was excited for it to be a new winter staple. However, after washing per the care instructions, the length shrunk so much that it's barely a midi. Not even sure that it's wearable.
