These pants fit beautifully and are very flattering. I'm 5'3", 116lbs. Ordered size 4R (the 4 petite was sold out) in the cream. With heels they sweep the floor so will have them hemmed a smidge. The stretch and cut makes them very comfortable. Great for travel, work or date nights. The cream is a p...erfect shade- not too yellow and not transparent (unlined). It's not a 5 star for me though for two reasons- I wish they had front pockets, and I don't care for the large hem on BR trousers, especially since they come in three distinct lengths (P,R,T). The hem stitch line is visible a full 3" from the bottom, and I believe that takes away from their high quality appearance. 1.5"-2" is ideal in my opinion.
Hear me out, I typically LOVE Banana Republic and most of my work clothing comes from here. But I bought these pants, in white, from a store in CT a few weeks ago and I haven't been able to wear them since trying them on. There was a very faint almost burnt smell coming from them, and I didn't think... much of it at first. I blamed it on maybe the smell of shipping boxes or storage smell or whatever. I brought the pants home and washed them on a delicate cycle, cool water, and hung them to dry and the burnt smell became WAY worse. I've tried everything I could to get the smell out but it's just not going away. It's a shame since they were good pants otherwise and on the expensive side. I'm wondering if anyone else had this issue? I thought maybe it was a one off but I went to a different store and bought a nice pair of linen pants from them 2 days ago (those get a 5/5 from me), but saw the white pants again and out of curiosity smelled them. Same faint burnt smell. I have no idea what to think.

Just love these pants! The high waist and just enough of stretch make these pants my favorite to wear now and into the early summer. They hold their shape and are very flattering to wear with a sweater or a blouse to the office or out to dinner. I bought them in navy and white. Did not like the green but am hoping for more colors in the fall.

gap.comI ordered these pants in all three colours. I wore the green one first and within the first hour, they started sagging. By the end of the work day they stretched out by at least one to two sizes. Yes, they are a stretchy pant. But I did not expect them to stretch the way they did.

It fits so well, and it's such a comfortable and stylish pair of pants! A clerk helped me style it with my blazer, which was a blessing. It was my first time purchasing at Banana Republic. It was definitely worth the price, and I'll definitely be back!

Again another shrinkable pants ! Too sad to find the second pants in a row that shrinks after the first wash. Too disappointed, and a total waste of money. No longer a reliable brand. Extremely disappointed since it will go directly to trash since now are too short.

These pants fit perfect like glove and were very flattering when I initially tried them on. I was very excited to wear these but that quickly faded. These pants are extremely stretchy I could have sized down 2 sizes. They stretched out so much that the butt became saggy which is not a typical struggle with pants for me. I couldn't wait to get home and take them off I felt like I was swimming in them after only a couple of hours. I do not recommend these at all, don't be fooled by the initial fit it does not last. Very disappointed that I wasted my money, these are poor quality.

gap.comThese pants fit like a glove when I first tried them on, I almost felt they were too tight. Like many of the other comments, after wearing these for about an hour they became stretched out and by the end of the day they were quite baggy and sagging around the waist, butt, and in the legs (almost like I could have sized down x2). I washed them hoping it might help (and air dried) but they never regained the original shape. For the price I expected better quality and do not recommend these pants. I got these in navy, size 8 (145lbs).
