I would consider this a long-lined somewhat oversized blazer. I LOVE the nipped in waist. The bottom flares out and the sleeves are very full (but not weirdly so). These features may work better on someone who is a true or more pronounced hourglass figure (fuller hips and bust). For reference I am a size 4/6 and on the cusp of rectangle/slight hourglass. Went with a 4 and it works as long as I change my expectations from fitted to oversized/full. The fabric is not as quality as I would have expected from BR, but I'll keep it for the sale price.

Comments about Hourglass Blazer

Bit loose on the chest area and the sleeves are a bit curved but I like the overall fit

Great for those with pear shapes

I love this blazer. It fits my curves beautifully, accentuates my waist wonderfully and since I tend to have fuller arms, the sleeves worked well for me. In my experience the sleeves weren't overly exaggerated and created a nice balance for my shape.

Almost a Classic

I was so excited to get this double-breasted blazer, a rare find. I'm a bit top heavy and my usual size 6 was a perfect fit, but the sleeves don't make sense. They are too roomy and barrowed. Not the slender sleeve that you find on most blazers. I was thinking about having the sleeves altered, but who knows how much more that would cost. I end up returning it.

Not a nice cut or style at all. Batwing super wide arms on this blazer. Returning.

Ridiculous sleeves

Maybe slightly oversized. I ordered my usual size 6 and it was definitely roomy. I would have kept it, if it weren't for the sleeves. Why would the arms of the blazer be so huge? They are almost barrel shaped, which I did not ascertain from the photos. They look ludicrous. An "Hourglass" blazer, to me, should be fitted and tailored looking. The sleeves look completely out of place. Wacky. Back it goes.
