To my full figured sistas, equivalent to an 18/20 at Lane Bryant, this coat in an L or XL is awesome. If you want a snugger fit, you may want to downsize to a L. This coat is truly oversized. I purchased it in an XL, so I can layer in northern winter weather, wear bulky sweaters, hoodies, and still have more than enough room. The Navy is a nice fabric of blended wool and it is long enough and sleek. It is exactly as pictured. I would recommend.

I love the quality and style of this coat but I was disappointed in the sleeve length. It was too short. I am tall but I didn't see tall for this coat and all the pictures seemed to have oversized long sleeves so I thought I would be fine.
This coat is high quality , feels like a warm blanket around my body. I'm 5'3 145 and purchased size XS and it fits a little oversized. I like it a little oversize in case I want to wear a sweater. If you want perfect fit then XXS may be your size. You can dress up and dress down with this coat. I want to get the gray one but they ran out of size XS and the prize has not been reduced it.

#sweepstakes This coat is beautifully designed, it's cozy yet lightweight, with a soft touch wool fabric. I expected the high design, but was really thrilled with all of the other attributes. As many other reviews state - it's VERY large. Part of that is the unique under-arm/side body gusset, which is not shown in the photos. This gives the coat it's cocoon shape, with the upper body being the wider part. I purchased a size Small but exchanged for an XSmall.
The collar looks strange and juts out when it's unbuttoned. When it is buttoned, it's a bit too stiff around the neck. Right idea but execution is slightly off, I think!
The coat is super soft and cozy but it looks super sloppy on, and it's worse with the buttons fastened. Note that every picture on the BR website and most influencer content shows it unbuttoned. I'm on the petite side but not tiny. The coat isn't just oversized; the hips stick out in this lumpy way. The pocket placement looks weirdly asymmetrical. Given the proporion and pocket placement issues I can't imagine sizing down would fix it. Returning.
I just received this coat in the gray color. It is absolutely beautiful and I love the color. I am a M but usually get coats in a L for room. After reading reviews, I ordered a Small. It is a perfect fit - I tried it on with a sweater and not tight, still roomy. I am 5"3 curvy - the right size in this coat makes a difference. It's oversized but in a funky cool way vs big and overly baggy. It hangs beautifully no issues as mentioned in other reviews . Great quality and just in time for the East Coast Arctic blast!
I am normally an XL and purchased an XL. I could have sized down but the fit is all bad regardless. It doesn't have much of a shape and if you have curves you'll look like the Hamburgler. Unfortunately has to be returned.

The fabric is a lovely heavy-weight wool, but unfortunately this was absolutely enormous and shapeless. For reference, I am 5'9" and 160# and based on other reviews, I ordered a small, which was still way too big. I ended up returning this.
