I am trying to love this fair aisle sweater. First out of the bag it's so striking with the blues, greens and orange. So festive. I normally buy Medium in sweaters and it's loose enough that it's not constricting. I read so many reviews that it runs small and I kept waiting for a Large to become avai...lable since i felt I needed to size up. But it has been out of stock in this pattern so I just got the medium. I absolutely love this sweater. It's soft and not itchy. I just wish it was a little bit more loose. It's fitted but not tight and I feel bulgy around the stomach area🤭. I am 5'1" and 118 lbs. Mediums in sweaters are normally loose fit on me but this medium fits like a Small. I hope I can make it work. I will be so sad if it starts to pill a lot. So many people complain about that. For the price point you wouldn't expect any flaws. But I anticipate it happening😔
Shoulder seams: the shoulder seams do not lay flat and instead stick out when worn. It looks sloppy. Material pills too easily: it looks and feels like it is about to pill even though I've only tried it on briefly. I got a merino sweater from here last year and it barely pills after many wears. ...Fit: I like that it's both somewhat fitted and cropped. I like the length of the ribbing. The fit is great. It looks great if you squint enough that you can't see the material or the shoulder seams poking out. Banana republic, if this item could be remade with better materials and better (or no visible) seams, I would totally buy this at a higher price. Please remake this item with better quality.

Loved this sweater until I washed it.Followed the washing instructions and it shrank to the size of a child. So disappointed.

The cut is amazing, the neck is small enough you can sz up 2 sizes and wear as a baggy option. Love the colors as well, stunning. The negatives, sweater began pulling on first wear. In first wash in cold water, sweater shrank to the extent I could no longer fit in it (this was not the sized up option). I ended up having to return the three i bought because I didn't want to have to dry clean

I love the orange color and the fit, but it pilled on the second wear just from being under a coat. Not high quality.

It's lovely but it like pilling already before even washing

I wish I'd seen the comments about shrinking before I bought this, because they are right. Washing and air drying according to the care instructions results in a sweater that is more than one size smaller than the original. Plus the knit is stiff and tight so there's no give in it anymore. It's way too small and uncomfortable now. This purchase is a complete waste - I'd like my money back!

This was given to me as a gift and the cut/design was so flattering but it started pilling almost instantly. I was so sad because I really did like it but I'm not sure I've ever experience pilling happen so quickly.

I bought size large in Orange. The colour is lovely and the fit is great. It is not cropped, but hits at the perfect length for high-waisted jeans, or for layering something underneath. I am usually medium or large, but based on the cut, I went with a large. Some others said the sleeves are tight, I thought they are just fine

gap.comI was excited about the sweater upon first receiving it. Received compliments on the colour/pattern. It shrunk considerably after washing, even after following the proper washing instructions. Such an expensive sweater and now it's best suited for a very young child, if at all. What a waste of money. I'm extremely disappointed for that and because I really liked it.

Loved the color and cropped fit! But on day 1 of wearing it, the material was showing extreme pulling. I'm so disappointed because I picked this among several sweater options.
