I love this skirt of much that I got both colors! It's cool and versatile and can be dressed up or down. It's a bit on the small side, so size up if you're in-between sizes. I got my usual size 8. The fabrics are different. There could be more give in the blue plaid because it's cotton. The black h...as more dramatic structure. The dropped hem in the back makes it a special tiered skirt. Recommend!
BR charged me for a skirt I never received - the status has shown "processed" at UPS for the past 12 days. My claim was denied, and unfortunately, similar issues have occurred before. I should not be held responsible for BR poor shipping and customer service.

Ordered in black. Item online says cotton. Received it and it says 100 % polyester. Skirt is not as described. Love the shape though. It's unfortunate that it's not cotton as described. Super stiff.

I ordered this skirt in the navy plaid and fell in love the minute I put it on. So much so, that I immediately logged on and ordered this black taffeta one, too. They are beautifuly made, full thick fabric, and they kind of swish-swish when you walk! I feel both elegant and modern in this gorgeous taffeta. The best part is that you can style them up for a dress-up occasion, or more casually for every day. Love love love! BR - more please!

I absolutely LOVE this skirt! Superior quality in a comfy cotton. I got so many compliments. I loved it so much I also ordered it in the Black. It fits true-to-size. The only note is that the plaid skirt is cotton, the black is not. Not a deal-breaker for me...but I definitely like the cotton feel better.

This is worth the price- I've been watching and debating buying this. This kind of skirt doesn't usually look good on me- I'm short and hippy but it lid slimming and stunning. It is absolutely a must get. I'm an 8 and it fit great! I saw the plaid was available so I ordered that one too!

After reading all of the reviews, I purchased the size I would normally wear and a size up. I am 5'5 around 160 Ish pounds I have a very curvy figure. I personally tried on the size 8, and found it to be a little big to the point where it was almost slipping to my actual belly button or below. But it is a gorgeous piece as beautiful as pictured I would just recommend sizing down
