This looked great on the model, but on a normal human being it's very unflattering. I am normally a large in banana dresses and it was so ridiculously big and there's so much fabric so it makes it very heavy. It's made out of a traditional denim non-stretch material so it weighs a ton. I tried on th...e medium and it was a bit better. I also could've gone to a small, but I just decided to pass. The only way to wear this would be with high heels otherwise it will just look like a big frumpy house dress but in denim, so weird - it was a great idea, It had potential but it needed some tailoring around the waist.

gap.comThe denim is gloriously heavy. I love it. But I agree with many of the reviews it's a tent and fits a bit weird. The neck isn't open like the picture. It's closed so it looks really shall we say…. conservative. There's a lot of material so not sure how much ironing would make the collar / neckline more open. It's hit and miss for dresses at BR and this is unfortunately a miss for me. Glad it works for some girls out there! I'm a 18/20 size girlie and bought the XL and XLT. Sizing down was a good move but it still didn't flatter.

I LOVE THIS DRESS!! It's different and may not be for everyone, but it is sooo comfy to me! The weight is a little heavy, but it's like having a comfy pair of jeans on. It does run big, - size down at least one size. ❤️

Love the look!!! I struggled with the sizing, small seemed too voluminous. The xsmall was too tight around the back. I ended up returning and rebuying. I'll wear as is and pair with slides and boho jewelry. It's a keeper!!

THE BEST go-anywhere denim dress. Casual? Yes. Dressy? Absolutely - just add some cool jewelry. BEST use? It's the best travel dress I've ever owned. FIT? I ordered Small; no ExtraSmall available. Either would have been fine. I'm only checking to see if maybe there is a new color. (There wasn't)

Old school 100% cotton denim. It's a nice weight. Ordered my usual Gap/Old Navy size. The shoulders, chest and back are the fit points and are true to size. Ignore all the comments to size down. Had I done that, it would not have fit. The cut is wildly creative, own the flowy volume, add chunky vintage jewelry, winter with boots, summer with sandals. This dress is spectacular. The only negative is the faux fading which I am never a fan of but otherwise it gives a vintage, worn in effect.

Looking at this dress online, I was obsessed. When it arrived, I was giddy with excitement...but as soon as I tried it on, I was sadly disappointed. The denim quality is beautiful but the structure is wide and tent like. No shape or movement, just a heavy cloth. My 5' frame couldn't support it and I question how even the shiny tall model made it look so smooth. I wanted to love this so much, but unfortunately I had to return.
