I ordered the Small, Tall because I am long legged and I didn't want it to be too short. I would have ordered my usual size XS but it wasn't available in the tall. Usually size XS small in banana fits me best, but occasionally in certain styles size small works too, especially in tops. Let me first...
I bought a tall hoping that this dress will work for me. Nope, still too short and the sleeves are too voluminous for my liking. The fabric is great and has a stretch, the pockets are deep, the neckline and the silhouette look great. I would say it runs slightly large.

This dress is gorgeous. It is so flattering, the velvet is really high quality and it's super comfortable. This dress is true to size, I ordered a medium, regular and for reference, I'm 5'7" and 150 lbs. it comes a few inches above my knee and is just loose enough without being baggy. The pockets are great.
I'm 61, weigh 200lbs, ordered an XL and still want pretty flattering stylish clothes! This dress is just THAT! It's great for women that have big arms, busty and have lost their waist to menopause. Very nicely made dress with velvet that's sturdy but still soft enough to be comfortable. Gorgeous deep burgundy color! Ordered a petite large since I have a 38D bust and the fit up top is great. It's a little more A line towards the bottom and I feel I could have sized down on the lower part, but that's life being busty and short. Length is above the knee still and I'm 4'11". Highly flattering and classic cut. I want to live in this dress - it's that pretty! This one can stay in your closet a long time too.
