Ladiessss this dress is a winner ! Don't fret about not wearing a bra because the jersey material is well made...FIRM ! U won't miss the bra. Iam 5"9 138lbs. I chose the small thinking I needed an extra fit at the top to keep the girls in place. Take my advice and size up. The halter PULLED horribl...y on the base of my neck. I exchanged for the medium. I had to keep stalking the website because the dress is being purchased so quickly. It's beautiful and one of my favorite purchases! I was able to get it 40% off. If u can somehow hold on for that opportunity that makes it a even better purchases. As I said its on of BR biggest sellers. Sooooo it's up to u before they sell out completely. Just want to save some of you time. If you are a lover of Banana fashion and quality fabrics like me and appreciate fashion forward {avant garde} yet classic clothing especially the last year 2024 holiday collection, save your time and skip this dress. I saw the glowing reviews and had to have one... for myself in the brown in a Tall {hint: Tall is available online only}. I saw it become available online after being sold out during the F&F sale. I went to the store to try on first {in a regular/classic length} before buying. I really hate having to do returns but lately been unavoidable coz the merch looking different IRL. This dress is ugly. I am sorry. The taffeta gown felt and heavy like tarp used to cover a pool off season. The brown color hue is dull and the jersey felt like an upcycled into functional but not so eco-friendly tote bag. I didn't bother trying it on and laughed at the sale tag price, not to mention the original asking price. I am still BR to the core but this dress was a no go. Looking forward to the linen and silk spring '26 collection!.

This dress is gorgeous and really nicely made—my only complaint is the length of the torso. I'm medium height (5'7") but have a long torso and I find the skirt sits too high on me. I wish there had been a Tall option available. Otherwise no complaints!

The fabrics are perfect - I'd read a review that said they felt cheap but i completely disagree. I was also concerned that the shades of brown might not match with two different fabrics, but they are perfect. The dress is so comfortable but looks elegant. I love the pockets! It's long - I'm 5'5" but is exactly where i want it to fall to (I ordered a M). Because of the weight of the taffeta, the skirt falls in a flattering way - I was worried about it looking too wide at the hips, but not at all the case. Can't wait to wear it!!!

gap.comBought this before Christmas to wear to a holiday function and it was perfection!! I got the petite M size as I've had better sizing luck with petites in the GAP family, and it was just right. I have long hair so I was able to wear a T strap bra and a blush cashmere shrug over it (the halter kinda flattened me without the bra) and I got compliments on it!! It made me feel so elegant and fancy, just what I had hoped!!
