i love this dress and was waiting for a markdown but BR instilled the fear of god in me from the emails saying there were like, 16 left. anyhoo, i caved. i am 5'7" and 119 lbs and ordered the small. it fits perfectly. the dress is totally unique. i do kinda agree with the reviewer who said the t...op part was a little bulky. i also have a long torso and it could be a little thinner at the top with material. i do have to fuss with it a bit, but it still looks great and i'm glad i took the leap.
I don't have alot of dresses in my wardrobe and this one seemed right up my alley for the fall/winter so I was excited to try it on as soon as it arrived. I loved the uniqueness of the skirt half but the top half has so much bulky extra material in the torso area. I was shocked because I have a long... torso and I usually have the opposite problem. The material under both of my arms folds over their is so much it looks kind of rediculous. I tried to play with the waistline and where it hit on me but it didn't help. Probably returning

So glad I bought this dress! I'm 5'3" and I was concerned about how it would fit me because most of the reviews implied that this dress is for a tall person. I prayed and I believe God said it would work for me and boy did it ever! It's sexy and sophisticated. I will be wearing it with black pointed knee high boots and a sparkly silver/black earrings to compliment the pin on the dress and currant red lipstick.

Fits well, clip not included so side flap protrudes and hangs majestically almost like a fish fin? I prefer the shape for my body with in pinned. Feels really nice.

I had such high hopes for this dress. Unfortunately, when I finally got my hands on one, BR sent a dress that someone else had worn and still smelled like her. The amount of makeup on the collar and the matted cuffs spoke to the reality of its use as well. I was appalled and quickly returned the used dress. This is the first time this has occurred and I pray it will be the last.

Unfortunately, I had to return it, they missed the mark on this dress, if only they didn't make the piece of material with the safety pin, the dress itself was pretty; had they made the hanging piece even it would have been fabulous.

gap.comI am 5 foot 8.5" and weigh 150 pounds with a long torso, the medium fit like a dream. I agree with the other reviewers that it probably isn't great for short gals but for taller women it is perfect. The fabric is heavy and feels high quality. I did end up putting in a couple of darts because the piece that overlaps the front flared out a bit too much for my liking but it was an easy fix.

Material is cozy. Fit overall wasn't bad but the elastic band across my waist felt very snug. The top wasn't draping like I wanted to. Would have loved to try the medium but it was sold out.
