This shirt is so beautiful. I bought it for my mother for her birthday and she loved it. The material and overall look of the shirt is absolutely beautiful! I am aware that it is oversized, but I wasn't expecting it to be that oversized. I just wish they had one size below an XXS. I feel like then, ...it would've been a perfect fit on my mother. It still looks great on her, totally recommend buying this!
I really wanted this to work for a party, but unfortunately the Velvet is too inferior for me. It doesn't move like good Velvet does. It's also not black but more of a gray charcoal, which looked a little cheap on this quality of Velvet. I don't understand the ribbons at the wrist. It's a single str...and that hangs, it's not two like it has been tied off. It does not run as big as some say. I ordered an XS and a small and my normal small fit as it should. I wish it would've worked out

gap.comI like the style of the shirt—particularly the sleeve cuffs—but I was worried about the material when I was ordering online, and hated it as soon as I tried it on in person. It's a heavy, stiff velvet. Somehow it's too shiny to wear to the office and too reminiscent of a pyjama top at the same time. Maybe BR will try this again in a different fabric in the future.

I was sure I was going to love this blouse, but I found the material to be thick, stiff and unflattering…it didn't drape and flow like it does on the model. Unfortunately it will be going back.
