I grabbed this piece on sale, as it is a nice elevated sweatshirt, but would not have purchased it at full price as it is a basic. I sized up one size so that the waist band hit in a more natural position than on the model in this photo (i.e., lower than pictured, but still snugger than your average sweatshirt waistband, which gives it a little style) . I also loved how the body and sleeves of the sweatshirt look when a little oversized. The navy color is dark and a little muddy.

I'm usually a size 8 and ordered both a M and a L based on the reviews. I didn't find much difference honestly in length and size of the bottom waistband between the two sizes, but the arms in the size L were sooooo long, they covered my hands. Decided to stick with a M - plenty of room for my broad shoulders and the sleeves were a much better length.

This sweatshirt is really nice, I like the silhouette a lot and the fabric is soft and substantial. One thing to note though is that the black color is a lot more faded than depicted in the product image, and I also feel like the full price is quite expensive; regardless, I'm going to really enjoy wearing it, I think it's really comfortable and stylish too! #sweepstakes

The material, construction overall look is excellent. I can't give 5 stars only because I have a longer torso so it feels a tad too cropped though I know it's the point. I am a medium, it's true to size otherwise. I love it and will wear with my high waisted pants.
