  • Long strands of polished pyrite and brass teardrop beads are hand-strung by artisans in a alternating pattern that forms a shimmering cascade. Sweeping dangling earrings have doubled strands of beads.
  • Unexpected Luxuries: A unique collection of event-worthy pieces hand-crafted by artisans applying time-honored jewelry-making traditions. Hand-cut and polished semi-precious stones, lustrous pearls, and gleaming pyrite take center stage in these distinctive designs.
  • Pyrite: Pyrite, a metallic golden stone with extraordinary sparkle, derives its name from pyr, the Greek word for fire. With its deceptive similarity to chunks of real gold, Pyrite is also known Fool’s Gold. The inherent shine and the shape of pyrite chunks, which form as a series of large and small crystals and even cube forms, renders it ideal for unique and eye-catching jewelry pieces.
  • Gold-plated brass ear wires.
  • #840698

  • Length: 3.5"

  • How to care for your jewelry:
  • Jewelry made of brass and silver will naturally oxidizes over time, developing a beautiful patina that some collectors prize. To restore your jewelry piece's original shine, start by cleaning with a soft cloth. You can also polish using a mixture of equal parts lemon juice and vinegar, combined with enough baking soda to form a paste. An alternate cleaning option is to use opaque toothpaste and a soft toothbrush.
  • With either cleaning solution, rinse the paste off, dry your jewelry immediately. Do not use cleaning solutions directly on any stones on your jewelry. Never use bleach, ammonia, alcohol or acetone to clean your jewelry. When wearing brass or silver jewelry directly on the skin, normal oxidation can result in a temporary, non-toxic skin discoloration that is easily washed off with soap and water.
  • Further notes: When not wearing your jewelry, it is best to store it in a cool, dry place or in small bags to minimize exposure to oxidation-causing air and humidity.
