I wanted these from the 1st time I saw them on line but my size was sold out instantly which was a bummer. I always clicked on them when I saw them on my random scrolls and my size was still never there. I bought another herringbone slack hoping they'd be somewhat like I thought these would be and t...hey were never even close. Then, one day after they'd disappeared a pair came back but they were one size too small and too a 32L as opposed to my normal 34 but I was super excited to read that they fit everybody big so I took a chance. They recently closed my store here in Chicago so I didn't get my veterans discount and I couldn't get them lengthened for free like normal because of my card status but I got them anyway because I thought they'd be beautiful. They came, I took them to be altered and they came out beautifully. They feel sooooo good on. Weighty without being heavy, warm and just comfortable. I'm so glad I got them, even with all the drawbacks.
Rise, great. Fabric, great. Fit, trendy (that's a bad thing). Just way, way too much material here. Not flattering at all, even after a belt cinch to give it a bit more of a Hollywood trousers aesthetic. Not me approved or wife approved. Sad, because the fabric has a wonderful heavy hand, feels so...ft, and has a fun Donegal fleck to it, and could have been something nice, but BR continues to overindulge these trends instead of making classics.

I was looking for a while for a tweedy/heritage trousers, and seeing that my size 32/30 is available on a sale price so I pulled the trigger. The fit is true to size and the cut is classic- straight and roomy without being too billowy and can definitely hold through future trends. The fabric is a wool blend, of Italian origin according to the label, and has a richer color that depicted on the website, with various flecks of red, yellow and black that add visual interest like a true tweed.

Great Cut and not nearly as wide as shown in some pics. Quality thick material that feels perfect for a winter old Hollywood look.

Reviewed at
gap.comLooks like my grandpa's trousers, but in a good way. The relaxed pleated fit is great for stockier guys. Only critique is that they could use a little less poly in the fabric, as they do wrinkle after a few wears.

#sweepstakes These fit and finish of these pants is excellent. The fabric as well is very high quality. Unfortunately, BR continues to push loose, trendy styles instead of providing timeless cuts. These pants are much too loose and unflattering.

I absolutely love these pants, I'm so glad I managed to get them. I've been wanting some vintage-inspired wool pants for a long time, and these are exactly what I was looking for. Excellent material, construction and fit. I got one size up from my normal size because they were the only size left in stock but it turned out to be the perfect fit. I find BR's more formal pieces a bit more slim-fitting so it's good to keep that in mind. I'm excited to be stylishly dressed for my work holiday party in these.
