Great quality, however, very little stretch. Sits right on my waist, a bit above belly botton. I have athletic build 120lbs, 5'4, 25" waist and 35" hips, I got size 25, which was a bit snug to get on over my hips but once on, all good. They are a tad too long (got regular, not petites), but petites ...would be too short, so I might hem them a bit. The waist does slightly gap when I sit down, but not terribly. I will say, these are more flare than a bootcut jean. Nice jeans but nothing extraordinary
I ordered both the light wash and the washed black in 27 petite. I'm typically a 26, but after reading the review, jumped to a 27. The waist fit perfect. I loved the washed black! They were so soft. However, the crotch was 2" too long!!! When I sat down in these, it looked like I was packing!!... Yikes!! I'm very average build, so clearly this was a quality control issue. I'm very sad as I loved these and now they are all sold out in this color and my size. The light wash fit tighter, material was stiffer and the length was shorter. It was supposed to be the same size as the washed black. Both are going back. Very disappointed. These sizing issues keep getting worse with BR. I'm going to have to go elsewhere.

I love the structure of these jeans. Yes, the fabric is a thicker denim but it does have stretch. The wider leg and fitted waist gives a flattering long look. Get summer piece.
