Being shorter, smaller, and curvy, ( 5'3, 24 waist, 37 hip) jeans can be quite difficult but I thought I'd take a chance on these since I have been looking for a high rise (but not too high) long length bootcut jean for a few months now and these looked like they might fit the bill. And for the most... part, they do. They fit my waist and hips pretty well. There is a bit of a back gap but not too noticeable. And at the regular length, they are perfectly long to wear with a heel so that the hem goes to the floor but doesn't drag. And they are really flattering, especially from the back. The one thing, to echo others, is that this is not bootcut, it is definitely a straight up flare. Not a deal breaker for me, though. I'd say if you are also curvy these may be the rare jean that works out with no alterations.
Your sizing is super inconsistent—this one is shorter than the indigo, but my issue with this jean is that it has a weird inseam on one side so it bubbles out in the crotch, and on top of that, the pocket is ripped and a hole has formed. Why has the quality gone down but now your pricing. You are cl...early using cheap labor and to be clear—I have had issues with the length being longer on one leg twice now with prior jeans. Enough is enough.

The best black jeans ever!! The fit is amazing and very flattering. The only downside is because I'm 5'5 there so long that I'll need to have them hemmed

There is no doubt about the good quality of BR jeans and this one is no exception. For the first time, I had to buy a size larger than usual. I'm a size 25 and had to size up to a 26 because the waistband was too small. With the size 26, the fit isn't bootcut because the leg starts to gets wider before the knee. It is fitted at the hips and up to mid-thigh, then it's wide and flares out at the bottom. In size 26 the waist is big, but they're not too bad for now. The reason I gave it 4 stars is the length. I'm 5'5" and I can only wear it with flats; it's too short with heels. At least the Regular size should be 32" long. The fabric is thick, like vintage jeans, and very good quality. I'm worried that if I lose any weight, it won't fit anymore.

It fits well but the regular size is short for me- i am a 5' 8" - and know next time to get long - otherwise it is just above the ankle.

gap.comLove these! Great fit. Great Medium wash! I had a low-waist bootcut like this in early 2K. I have been waiting for this style to resurface.

Wear a 26 in all jeans and length is always short or will order in Petite. BR jeans were ordered in High Rose Boot cut size 26 petite. Trying on was a struggle as the opening is so narrow and short. Secondly, there is absolutely no stretch. With having a small/ narrow waist , thick thighs and volume in the rear , these jeans were not for a curved body shape.

With the above distinction in mind, they are well made. They fit perfectly ( 5'9", 150 lbs). I'm considering having them tailored to a bootcut because everything else is great.

For someone who is shorter and curvy these jeans are super flattering. The make me look like my legs are much longer than they really are. Love these!

This jean is definitely flare, not bootcut. Despite the wrong style label, it is well cut. I noticed inconsistencies between colors; the black one is slightly bigger than the indigo. The Petite runs small in indigo color. I am 5'2'', 100 lb, curvy, and usually wear 25-26. Had to take 27 in this one.
