I've been looking for a while for a wide leg light wash jean that doesn't make me feel like I'm trying to look 20 years younger than I am. These have a clean, tailored fit that feels more mature and elevated. The back pocket size and placement looks good on the bum (what kept me from getting the ver...y similar Reformation Cary jeans was the small back pockets). Fabric is a nice weight, heavier than the Everlane Sailor 2.0 jeans I've tried. Only issue is gapping at the waist. I bought a size 28 and I have a 28-30" waist. I can easily pinch two inches of fabric. Also wish the regular length could have had a 32" inseam. I am 5'7" and they are about .5" off the ground, but for me, the tall/long would need to be worn with heels (the light wash jeans would not look good hemmed). These relax a bit with wear, stretch to about 1/2 size bigger.
Bought these jeans and had some from last fall that were wide as well. Banana Republic completely ruined the long length as it's barely a 33" inseam. L in e many leggy tall women I need at least a 35 " and especially with a wide leg where you want an elegant flowing look they should be long. I feel ...so sad and am shocked that Banana Republic would shorten their long so short women don't need to hem while we tall women simply cacti purchase. Please add the extra length so we can be customers. If you did it across the board as in regular and tall you wouldn't have 5'6" and 5'7" needing to buy a long length and you would also capture the taller customer as you did previously.

I love these jeans - they go so well with everything. However, I was surprised at how little "give" there was in the thigh & crotch area. If you're curvy or have an athletic build, you'll need to size up. I'm a size 27 in BR jeans normally and could barely get it up my thighs. Went up a size and they fit a lot better and have stretched a bit with several wears.

BR was my go-to for tall pants and I'm so disappointed they have cut out the larger sizes. I love true sized pants not the ones with elastic waistbands. I've completely lost hope in what use to be my fav brand.

It is usually hard for me to find jeans as a 5'3 gal. I usually go for the designer jeans but let me tell you these are BETTER than designer jeans. I bought these in 2 colors and debating getting the black ones. These are a must buy

Honestly, these are the perfect jeans. I'm 5ft 1in and these jeans are perfect with a heeled boot. So comfortable and the perfect fit.

I have jeans in nearly every hue of black and blue, so I'm ever watchful for the unique: colored, coated, corduroy, or the unknown. My 33" inseam removes 90% of options for me, so I was thrilled to find these in my size...the very last pair, in fact. The design is beyond cool, with a subtle '90s vibe that I dig! They're TTS with just a hint of stretch. Sure, it's not as much stretch as I prefer, but needs must. They're very soft and smooth to the touch and simply too next-level to pass. Finding them at BP shook me. I had no idea they were so cool. I'll be back!

It took a minute to figure out how to style these, but I am rocking them with heeled boots and semi cropped tops.

These jeans offer an excellent fit and a very flattering cut. I particularly appreciate the length—it is perfect for elevated looks with heels but transitions seamlessly to a more relaxed style with casual shoes. A highly versatile investment piece.
