I've been looking for a while for a wide leg light wash jean that doesn't make me feel like I'm trying to look 20 years younger than I am. These have a clean, tailored fit that feels more mature and elevated. The back pocket size and placement looks good on the bum (what kept me from getting the ver...y similar Reformation Cary jeans was the small back pockets). Fabric is a nice weight, heavier than the Everlane Sailor 2.0 jeans I've tried. Only issue is gapping at the waist. I bought a size 28 and I have a 28-30" waist. I can easily pinch two inches of fabric. Also wish the regular length could have had a 32" inseam. I am 5'7" and they are about .5" off the ground, but for me, the tall/long would need to be worn with heels (the light wash jeans would not look good hemmed). These relax a bit with wear, stretch to about 1/2 size bigger.
Bought these jeans and had some from last fall that were wide as well. Banana Republic completely ruined the long length as it's barely a 33" inseam. L in e many leggy tall women I need at least a 35 " and especially with a wide leg where you want an elegant flowing look they should be long. I feel ...so sad and am shocked that Banana Republic would shorten their long so short women don't need to hem while we tall women simply cacti purchase. Please add the extra length so we can be customers. If you did it across the board as in regular and tall you wouldn't have 5'6" and 5'7" needing to buy a long length and you would also capture the taller customer as you did previously.

I have been living in these jeans since I bought them two months ago. My first pair in almost a decade as I had a jean hiatus post child birth. They fit perfectly and can be styled for both casual and smart outfits. I match them with the fireside sweater in merino-cotton and the burgundy braided leather belt. Classic!

These jeans fit great and are really flattering. I ordered 28 tall, which is my usual size. Plan to order more colors if they become available in my size.

These are nice jeans, I bought them to have some classy jeans for work, and a lot of jeans today don't really scream sophisticated. I got a couple of compliments on these jeans, the petite sizing was perfect for my height, and they'd work well with both flats and heels which is rare. The only reason I took off a star is because they're a lot heavier than I would have expected, so they're a little stiff. which made the cuff roll up a little bit, so I have to iron them. All in all, great jeans, will probably buy a second pair.

The stiffer fabric and color are exactly what I wanted, but the cut just didn't work--even though at 5'11" wide leg pants usually look great on me (in Long). The contrast between the fitted waist and the width of the pants was just too much. I looked for the next size up but it wasn't available. #sweepstakes

gap.comI bought these in the black rinse wash and loved them... until I washed them for the first time. They now covered in irregular creases and are notably lighter colored over the creases. Ironing doesn't even fully smooth them out. Definitely can't wear them to work, and they're so crinkly that I don't think I'll be wearing them casually either. I followed the washing instructions to a T and promptly removed them from the washer and dryer, so this is obviously a defect in the weave of the fabric. Really disappointing.

Super basic jeans with not stretch. They are thick and light black. They are no elevated for the price.

These were exactly what I'm looking for. Perfect mom uniform. At 5'10", the tall is the ideal length. Some people in the reviews are saying size down. Don't — but note that the pants size is NOT the same as your waist circumference in inches. Measure your waist and then look at the size chart.
