As someone with a small torso but thick legs and large calves, I have been searching for ages for a pair of jeans that are fitted in the seat while slightly roomy in the legs. Most straight jeans fit me like skinnies, and looser cuts tend to look sloppy on my petite frame. After so much searching, I...'ve finally landed on my holy grail jeans with the 90s straight. The 25 petite fits beautifully, and the length is perfect for wearing with flats or sneakers (I'm 5'4, 120-125lbs). I've purchased three pairs so far. They do stretch out a bit with wear but for me it's just enough to look relaxed and effortless. The white seems to be a different cut as they were much baggier in the crotch than the other pairs I have (medium, black, and light), and I had to return. I may try again in a 24 petite. My search is over. Thank you, Banana!
The jeans are not the dark rinse that I got last year, but rather a washed medium blue. They do not have the same weight, and are more like they have been worn by someone else. Which I feel confident did not happen. The pocket lining does not reach the zipper which I think is disappointing since ...that tends to make your abdomen look flatter. Needless to say, I returning them.

I was able to find them at my local store and I'm glad I did as I went down a size to 26 from my usual 27-28. I wear a lot of black jeans, particularly when traveling for a versatile look with blazers or sweaters.These fit well and don't gap at the waist like many jeans do on me.

Well I'll be darned! Ordered 27, 26 & 25, & what doyaknow? The 25 fit perfectly! Surprising b/c having gained 20+ lbs, never would've thought 25 would fit, but there you have it (34D, 26,36.5; 5'3; 130 lbs). Love the weight, length, fit & the stark white color. Sooo happy...

I order a regular length and they were so long I reordered for a short. When I washed them, they shrimk in the length so much, they look stupid now. I washed and dried two pairs. An expensive mistake.
