I'm a regular 5'7 and this was definitely a boyfriend (or even dad) piece. Maybe a size down would be better but it was a final sale. Otherwise I would return :(

Comments about Boyfriend Drapey Twill Belted Blazer

The Jasper Red Boyfriend Drapey Twill Belted Blazer is a beautiful piece that truly stands out in person. The jasper red color is rich, warm, and incredibly flattering—bold enough to make a statement but still elegant and easy to wear. The drapey fabric gives it a relaxed, effortless look, while the adjustable back belt adds just the right touch of femininity by defining the waist and creating a more tailored, flattering silhouette. It's a stylish blend of polished and easygoing, and it looks fantastic on.

great piece and a must have in the wardrobe

I'm 5'10" with broad shoulders, had my growth spurt in fourth grade, and I've never found a blazer that fits me right. The good: This blazer gave me room in the shoulders and wasn't too short at the bottom or in the sleeves. The bad: Cinching at the waist was barely noticeable even after I readjusted the belt, so I didn't achieve the hourglass figure that the model has, and I looked like a rectangle instead. Possibly there is too much fabric in the XL to cinch effectively. If the blazer was a lot cheaper, I'd still keep it anyway. But even with 20% off + an extra 15% off, the cost was too much for me to justify holding onto a piece of clothing that's not perfect.

I sized down because the arms were too long and broad across shoulders which did look cool but too much for my office. I tied the tie in a bow for an extra snatched waist.

Comments about Boyfriend Drapey Twill Belted Blazer

Really gorgeous jacket but just not for me. Beautifully constructed, great fabric that drapes perfectly. For me the proportions were off. I am a pretty solid 12 and I realize this is an oversized cut but on me it felt almost clown like. The sleeves were too long, the shoulders too wide. The back gathering is lovely but didn't work for me. Just looked off, sloppy. I wish this had worked out as I had been coveting it since it came out!

Comments about Boyfriend Drapey Twill Belted Blazer

I'm 6' tall with very long arms. I took a chance on this one given it's "drapey" and "boyfriend" fit. It works! The sleeves hit at the end of my wrist, so a little short but doable. Usually anything belted doesn't work but this is fine. I also bought the Italian wool blazer--way too short everywhere so I returned it. BR, I am so grateful that you and your sister brands offer tall sizes. I know it costs you more to do it. I do wish that you would offer blazers and outerwear in tall sizes and even fitted sweaters. Anything with a shaped waist or sleeves that can't be pushed won't work for tall women.
