I was drawn to the lightweight wool fabric of this blazer, and I also purchased the matching high-rise straight leg trouser. Together, this suit looks polished and upscale. The deep navy shade of the blazer is closer to black than blue, which I prefer. It's a deep, rich hue that, combined with the q...uality fabric, provides an overall upscale aesthetic. The fit of this blazer is also spot on. As a petite, I've found BR to be a great place to find quality work staples that fit my frame without added tailoring. I'm a 32B, 5"0' and 110 lbs with a petite hourglass shape and the 2P fit me as though a seamstress made it just for me!
I ordered two of these suits based on the review and I am really confused as to why there has been so much praise. The tailoring feels like something you'd get at H&M. Fabric is super thin and doesn't feel high quality at all. Doesn't feel like wool. The structure around the zipper is so bad that it... doesn't even lay flat. I can't believe how expensive this was for the quality! I have gotten way better quality at Zara for a fraction of the price. The cut is also really boxy and not flattering at all.

I have the black blazer made out of the same fabric and get compliments all the time it is beautiful - the lining in this navy blazer is inferior this makes the blazer not look quite such good quality. The inferiority of the lining impacts how the blazer hangs .Please please BR don't skimp on such important details

Very nice wool fabric and rich navy color. At 5'1 I had to get the sleeves hemmed by 3/4". Great quality for the price!! Loose fitting.

The fabric was nice. One of the few suits I could find that was mostly wool. Not a heavy wool. Good year round weight. I am 5'2" 115, I tried a 2P and 4P and the 2P fit fine. Beautiful blazer. I just wasn't thrilled with the straight pants and I think the "modern straight pants" would be too wide, based on reviews.

I walked in BR store for a different blazer which wasn't at store so I asked for brown blazer. When I tried it on, I was pleasantly surprised at the fit and fabric quality (98% wool). It is too good to miss out. I bought 2 pairs of blazer & pant and I am sure I will end up buying more next year. Among 5-7 blazer I bought from all different brands. These turned out to be best in quality, price and fitting. Fabric feels good, fits true to size.

I debated on this (Saddle Brown) color pant and suit and finally gave in! I didn't need this color at the time but among 5-7 suit/blazers and pants I bought from other brands, these Banana Republic ones were the best!! I am between S and M, 5'4", 135lb and this fitted well in size 6 for Suite and Pant. Fabric feels good, not heavy at all.

Another great-quality wool item I purchased at BR. Also got matching high-waist ankle pants and I'm absolutely happy with the fit, feel of the fabric, and tailoring. Everything is excellent. Got both the blazer and the pants on Thanksgiving sale and consider them a good investment into my office wardrobe. I've been wearing both on repeat. One note re blazer - I usually wear a 0 or 2 in all other brands but had to get size 4 in this blazer, but still 0 in pants. For reference, I'm 5'4", 125 lbs.
