I ordered the cream floral colorway. liked the style and fit of this dress (sz 8, small chest, larger hips and butt), but it is completely see-through as the bodice is unlined and the skirt is only two layers of fabric and is still sheer. This, combined with the high slit means undergarments would be very tricky (long line nude shorts like Spanx are exposed by the slit) and a thong/bikini would show through the fabric. The dress also arrived very wrinkled, and while fixable with a steam, does not bode well for how the dress will actually wear. I was able to get this 40% off, but even with that, that seems like too much given the quality.

I had high hopes for this dress as I needed something for a special occasion. This dress seemed more like an overpriced swimsuit coverup than anything else. The little ruffle on the shoulder was unnecessary and a very small detail. The neckline was drastically more revealing on me than in the photos. I would have to wear something under it to cover my chest. The fabric was very thin. Granted it was a double layer that helped, but still very thin. The waist was a nice fit, loved the sleeves, and the length of the dress.

For reference I'm 6' tall and 155# and I ordered an 8 tall. The dress fit well, was very comfortable, and was very flattering. Unfortunately, it was very low cut in the front and see through on top. The leg slit was quite high and can be let down by loosening the cord on the ruching but that made the hem uneven and weirdly long on the sides of the leg slit. Also, it's advertised as a "maxi" dress but it hit at a weird spot a few inches above my ankle. I think if I was in my 20's or 30's and was wearing it to a friend's wedding it would work. I wanted to wear it to my niece's wedding this summer and I think I need something less revealing. Returned. The search for a tall wedding guest dress continues!!

I LOVED this dress and wanted so desperately to wear it to weddings this summer but the fabric was so wrinkled I sent the first one back in the hope that the second one would have come from a store and have been steamed. NO LUCK. Second dress came and it too looked like a used hanky. BR gave me a credit and said I could bring it to be professionally steamed and could return it if it was not damaged and had the tags still on. Definitely improved with professional steaming but they weren't able to get the bad wrinkles out. I bunched the dress up in my hand to see if the fabric wrinkled as it was originally and it did without any effort. Sadly this fabric is of poor quality. Too bad because I loved the fit, the flow and the pattern on the pastel pink dress.

Although this dress says stretch crepe, it has no stretch! I sized up to a 4 petite, while I normally wear a 0 or 2 petite in BR dresses. The pattern is lovely and unique.
