Bought size small. I'm usually 36S or R and need to tailor in an in or so on the chest. Shirt sits well on the chest and is flowy down the rest of the body. The side-hem at the bottom has vents that make it more casual but the weave/texture of the shirt makes it look smooth and silky so it elevates ...your outfit a bit. Crew neck hemline is lay-flat if you care for that extra comfort. The shirt is flattering but it's thin enough where it makes me unsure about it's longevity Shirt Measurements: Top Collar/Shoulder hem to Bottom of Front side: 27in (back side is 1 in longer) Log enough to tuck but still good untucked Sleeve length : 15 1/2 If it shrinks after I wash it, it will be too short Actual sleeve (excluding shoulder) is 8 inches Chest (side to side hem only) is 18 inches Small size is roomy enough to be right in the middle between a slim and classic fit for a size 36. Enough room where if you were slightly fatter than me it would make it a slim fit. Slightly lighter than me would make it a classic fit. 4/5. Thin. Makes me unsure about longevity. Would be 5 if it was a bit thicker. P.S. Nipples will show through if you are dark person.
I've been buying several Supima and Pima cotton t-shirts, but the ones I've liked the most, both for their softness, colors, construction, and quality, have been the ones from Banana Republic. I think I've bought about 12 or 15 BR t-shirts. But honestly, one thing I dislike a lot is that some t-shir...ts are not the same length; that is, some are longer than others. At least half of them fit me well, and I've had to give the rest away because they're too small for me. This really upsets me because these are the t-shirts, whether Supima or Pima cotton, that I've liked the most. There's simply something off about BR, or the factory where certain t-shirts are made isn't consistent with the rest of the factories.

Perfect fit for my 6'4" husband. The length was just right. Probably shouldn't dry it in dryer. #sweepstakes

Most days, I wear a basic no graphic t with jeans, cords, or shorts. I have purchased ts from numerous brands including some fairly high end ones in an effort to find the ultimate. While there are a few other brands I like (at higher cost), these are probably my faves. The weight is just a bit heavier than the pricer options and I find that looks better as the higher end ts use thinner cotton that sticks to ones body. They also wear extremely well. I have a few that are more than 10 years old and still look great.

Quality of shirt is terrible. Fabric is stiff and the length was too short. Total waste of $$.
