I am so impressed with this jacket. I haven't been wearing leather jackets for years so can't say how it compares to what is available on the market now. But I used to love leather jackets and bought a few jackets quite a few years back (all from Europe). This jacket is definitely made out of thi...ck leather and has some weight. This is not fine buttery soft lightweight jacket. It is sort of worn out, rugged style leather that looks very stylish in my opinion. I am 5'5 103 lb 32D and XS looks exactly like it is shown on the website. XXS would definitely fit as well but I like oversized style and went with my usual size. It has dropped shoulders. Sleeves are long and go quite a bit past the wrists which I love. Length wise it ends up at about mid buttock area. It is definitely oversized and roomy. XS is my usual size for tops and jackets in BR and it fits as expected. The worn out details definitely have greenish hint but otherwise it looks more blackish in color. It is very well made with great attention to details. While my other leather jackets are definitely made out of much softer finer leather - this jacket is by far my new favorite. The best part is how stylish this jacket is. It is also very comfortable and not restrictive in any way. My favorite purchase in a long time ❤️
I tried this on in-store in a size small. I am 5'2 for reference. I found the leather too stiff and thick. This is due to them using cow leather instead of a softer leather like lamb leather. The fit was also not good on a petite frame. It is too long. It looks huge on me despite fitting close to th...e body. Honestly, kinda fit like a small men's jacket, which would explain the awkward fit. I don't recommend this, or at least definitely try on in store before purchasing.

Gorgeous but way too big and long even for "oversized". I'm 5'0 and 105 lbs and got the size XS. The length of the body goes inches past the bottom my behind and the sleeves cover my entire hands. It's unfortunate that I have to return because it's such a beautiful jacket.

Reviewed at
gap.comI went into Banana Republic looking for a bomber jacket and I came out with this one! I was blown away with how stylish it looked on me - and although I was wearing business casual at the time, it was easy to see this was going to go over well with casual as well. The jacket tis indeed oversized but it doesn't look oversized on - but I admit I sized down. I am generally an XL but went for the L - which was still large enough for me to wear my (thin) business jacket underneath. It just hangs so nicely on me and despite being 'overwized' actually make some look slimmer. I agree with others that this is essentially a distressed black with some green hints in the distressed bits - but I'm good with that, I wouldn't have got this if it has been dominantly green It is a heavy leather which I like - feels durable. I wore it quite comfortably in 5C weather without having to layer up, so suspect as the temps hit the high teens, this is going to get a little toasty for me. But I truly recommend this jacket. As others in here have commented, it's a jacket for all occasions and I think I can finally shrink the pile of jackets I have down as this jacket blends in with my life from walking the dog to dining out to gping to the office.

We looked at it in as many environments as possible and it's not green! I think an error was made somewhere along the way and they just decided to " SAY" it is green…,, maybe?

One of my favorite purchases. It goes with almost anything and it's super heavy and stylish. It's definitely on the pricier side but I consider it an investment that I'll wear for years and pass it down!

Tried both xs & small. Both didn't fit good. Stiff material. Extra room in the back but tight in certain areas. Wasn't for me

Leather quality and quality of zipper seems great and durable for -in my opinion- really fair price. I was looking for a new jacket that will keep me company for the next 10 + years without going out of style. A jacket that can be casual but also be dressed up. Bonus point: I am 6'2" and the sleeves are not too short. Yay!
