This coat is really beautiful - the reason for the 4 star and not the 5 is because the inside pocket(s) were sewn shut, not basted shut, SEWN shut. Cannot use. I was disappointed with that, especially for the price point. The color (brown) that I bought and the material is so so nice! Very smooth... and soft- just lovely! It is oversized, so I recommend sizing down. I am 5'5" 125lbs and bought a small. Love love the length. Just below mid calf. The style of the sleeves do not support any sort of shoulder pads for shaping, so it is more of a casual look and less of a structured look. But, overall, I recommend this coat.
I was so fooled to think that due to this coat's material content (91% wool and 6% cashmere) I'd be getting a quality coat, but boy was I wrong. This coat arrived wrinkled and light as paper. It's extremely thin and the belt does practically nothing to keep the coat closed. Despite this coat being a...dvertised as wool, the look and feel is reminiscent of polyester fleece - cheap, thin, wrinkled, and with an unnatural sheen to the fabric. For the price-point I would have expected more - this is going back to the store immediately.

The fabric and blue catamaran color were gorgeous, but the tailoring is atrocious. Without a shoulder seam, this just hangs like a bulky bath robe. Why, WHY did BR not opt for a more structured design for such heavy fabric? It's like they put zero thought into the construction of this cot and it's such a shame. It could've been a great piece but it was an immediate return once I put it on.

Beautiful coat. Well made, soft, bold fun colour, not too bright, and the chocolate satin lining is luxurious. Timless piece to add to my wardrobe of too much black!

Warm, beautiful silhouette. I like that it has a belt and not buttons. The outer is almost entirely made of wool and cashmere but the lining is 100% polyester which is plastic. That is the major downfall of this coat which is also why is should also not be at the price point that it is

gap.comFeels like I'm wearing a robe because the belt loops are too low for the regular size. It hits at my upper hips or 5" below the narrowest part of my waist. This is probably not good for someone with a short torso. I am 5'3", and the petite available. I do like the length which is long, maybe 3" above my ankles.

gap.comThe collar is pressed with not a lot of collar showing for the blue coat. This ends up making the collar look thin and odd and strange - not normal as shown in the model pictures, where there is a thicker amount and more collar and lapel showing and it doesn't look pressed down. It's a pain to reposition and fix, because now there is a line from the improperly pressed lapel showing. Also the fabric can wrinkle and stays wrinkled for a long time, so the minimal cashmere amount in this doesn't really help with the drape.

It's pretty and looks just like the picture. It is not heavy, so I am wondering how warm it will be.

This wool long coat is warm, stylish, and comfortable. The high-quality wool provides great insulation, and the long design gives it a classic, elegant look. It's perfect for everyday wear in cold weather, I really like a color

I ordered a small petite and it's roomy enough to wear a blazer under it. The coat fits beautifully and has the Italian 'bella figura' vibe. Love it!

BR did not disappoint! Fantastic coat fits great I bought a pink coat a few years ago. Don't know if it's the same brand but this coat is no different. It's made well. It will look great for a long time.
