Comments about Relaxed Italian Herringbone Suit Jacket

I'm going to start with that fabric pattern and color is perfect for the cooler months. It is a beautiful 110s wool, which means it will last for some time. That's the good. The bad however is that this jacket does not match the online description. This is labeled as a relaxed fit, but fits like the tailored slim fit from other jackets at the shoulders and chest. I have broad shoulders and slim athletic frame, but even a 42r was still somewhat snug at the shoulders for me. The sleeves are also still somewhat tight too, relaxed fits from other places at the same size don't give me this issue. From the chest and below, no issues with the jacket. From this experience, BR got the fit wrong on this one, and wonder what other reviewers will write My last gripe, and this is with all their suiting jackets is the use of functional button cuffs.... I stopped buying suit jackets here due to going this route. However the color and fit made me want to buy. Off the rack suits rarely fit perfectly and require some alterations, often at the sleeves. The use of functional buttons makes this alterations nearly impossible or very expensive... So here lies the dilemma. I'm still on the fence, after trying 3 different sizes of this blazer. The 42r fits best for me from the shoulders and body length, but the sleeves are just too long for me. #sweepstakes
