# sweepstakes Love this mock neck,more like a turtleneck for me. The burgundy color is a deep red looks better than online photo. It's very well made and warm. Good fit. It's a good winter/holiday sweater.
This is a beautiful gorgeous well made sweater except it's extremely itchy. You have to wear an undershirt long sleeve underneath it which I don't do. I'm considering sending it back. It's really sad because it is absolutely gorgeous. I'm going to look online to see what I can do to reduce it if pos...sible if I can't find a solution, I'll be sending it back.

Beautifully made, well fitting. Gorgeous color! The fabric is slightly itchy, so it isn't a sweater that you want to wear without a long sleeved shirt underneath it. However, I am in love with the long sleeves and length of the tunic.

I bought this sweater in my usual top size ( small ) and I will say that it is designed to have more room in the body but not excessively, while being thick enough to keep you warm. This is not a fitted sweater, but you probably won't be swimming in it if you get your usual size. The texture is simple and elegant, perfect for dressing up or down. The wool feels premium and soft as well. The only issue I had is that similar to one of their other mock neck sweaters, the neck opening is a bit too big no matter what size, so there is some room between my neck and the fabric, which is why I gave this 4/5 stars. Something to keep in mind. Overall, this is one of the best premium feeling sweaters that Banana Republic makes and I highly recommend it!

This sweater was not flattering on my husband at all. The neckline is just extra for no reason. I returned it. Please consider keeping classic sweater styling especially for those mature BR shoppers who are not necessarily chasing the next fashion trend.
