Good Initial quality but not as sturdy as GAP

Didn't expect this. Have had a Gap flannel for several years. long enough for the collar to start to fray, but overall the shirt is in good shape - no shrinkage, pilling, or fuzziness. Wish I could say the same for my BR flannel. After 6 months, the sleeves have shrunken, the cloth is notably fuzzy...

Great texture. It's soft and the structure of the shirt is very comfortable. It doesn't have the same wearing problems other flannels would have in a warm climate like I'm in. Runs true to size for other BR shirts. My small is larger than smalls from other brands though.

Love Banana Republic's clothing. Bought about 10 pairs of pants and six shirts in the past month. Transitioned from Tommy Bahama. Banana Republic's clothing is a much higher quality and the fit is very good. I find they run smaller than other brands so I am a size larger than with Tommy or others.
