Blue Plaid Color is Darker Than Photo

I was a little disappointed that the overall color of this shirt is quite dark. However the material is soft and elegant. I ordered XL Tall and the overall fit is a bit on the boxy side and the tails are not quite as long as I like when I need them to stay tucked in.

Weird overly boxy fit. I'm between a L and an XL with typical standard/reg fit BR shirts but even the L of this was too big and fit weird. Returned.

I went into the BR store at the Rideau Centre and was looking for another shirt when I came across this one. The photo doesn't capture the beauty of its pattern. I found the other shirt I was looking for but opted for this one. Can't wait to wear it.

The shoulders were super wide. I'm 5'8" and 160lbs. Usually 31-32" pants. Average build. This is the relaxed fit. I purchased medium. Much too large. The small fit better. However the shoulders were still too wide. Made me feel like a football player. The fabric and print were nice. Fit just off. Classic fit is likely better than the relaxed. However, not many options in the classic or slim fits at the moment. I am going to return the medium and did not buy a small.

The XL shirt in this style is an odd cut. The sleeves are too short and the shoulders and chest are baggy while the stomach is tighter. I fit an XL from almost any store well, but not this one.
