The skirt is great. It's lined and the linen is top notch. The color is a warm cream that would look good on many. The skirt is a full wrap and stays closed when you sit, which I appreciate. Now some caveats: 1. The skirt has internal buttons and inner facing holes that require you to button the sk...irt 'backwards'. There is no clearance for the button to come all the way through the button hole because there is a lining. You have to fish the button through the hole, without being able to grasp it. 2. There are many strings and loops and it can all get a little confusing. This is not an 'easy on/easy off skirt' 3. The sizing is...weird. I have a 32 inch waist and 51 inch hips. Per BRs size chart I'm a small size 12 in the waist and more than a 20 in the hip. I traditionally buy a BR 14/16/L. I got this in an 18. It's perfect at the hip and 2-3inches too big in the waist. Nothing a tailor can't fix. I advising sizing up if you're full-hipped and sizing down if you're not.
I'm usually a 10 in BR, but I should've maybe gotten a 12 in this skirt. Although I do like it, it relies a lot on these two little buttons that aren't reinforced at all. They already felt loose, so I don't imagine they'll last after more than a few months of wear. For that reason I'm going to retur...n it instead of exchanging for a bigger size

Loved this and sized up after reading the reviews. The skirt is not just high waisted it was at my ribcage and was still too small. Great fabric and style but waist size is way off.

The skirt is pretty, and well made but it runs super small in the waste. I am true size 4, I tried 4, 6 and 8. 8 was huge in hips but still not ideal in the waste. It will work for a curvy woman with small waste. Had to return all 3 sizes.

One of my fave BR pieces ever. At 5'5" regular length is a bit longer than in pictures. True to size in my typical size 4 (125 lbs). Fabric drapes beautifully over curves in high quality linen. Can be casual or any special occasion where you want to be noticed. Simple elegance. Love the color Magnolia this season. It's a perfect shade of soft butter. Not pure white, and not much yellow in it. Just right to flatter my complexion.

gap.comOnce I sized up the fit was very nice. I will have to sew in small elastic loops to secure the buttons as I cannot use the button holes, even when I'm not wearing it! It's not a size problem but rather a bottom hole design issue.
